This price dropped way too quickly for me to trust its quality
It's not that it's bad quality, it's that nobody really wanted it (same as the vita after the initial surge - similar to the WiiU) or for the price they wanted for it.

Oh so you're gonna be...that guy

I said I'd grab one of these at $30 a while back, but the way they seem to be dropping I'll bite at $20 or less. Tried to read up on how to hack it but it didn't really seem terribly easy or straightforward. Probably don't need another electronic that I'll never use anyway lol. Wish it had Netflix.

I've got a good amount of GS credit after the 50% deal, so this is really tempting, more for playing PS4 stuff in other rooms than the Vita stuff. But I told myself I'd wait til after E3 to spend it, so either that or wait for another price drop.

Yes it has Hulu Plus b/c I remember the last Vita update for Hulu Plus specifically mentioning it.
I actually use it for Hulu often. The Suspend feature of Vita/PSTV makes it really useful since I can suspend the app (just by going in standby mode) and the next time I turn on the PS TV the show will begin playing automatically where I left off without me having to go into the app, select the show, etc. It's minor, but nifty.

The PS TV is a pretty neat device despite the limited support it gets. It does have Crackle and a few other services besides Hulu, but if your device doesn't do Netflix it's pretty bad.

Also, a very underrated and under-advertised feature is that the PS3 remotes will work with this device. I stopped using my PS3 remote when I got a Harmony remote, so it's nice to have a new use for the discarded remote now. I believe newer Harmony remotes will work with it too, but haven't gotten around to checking it out yet.

I went to the store that had a used one, walked in, and walked back out a few minutes later not even bothering to approach the counter. When it came time to pull the trigger, I just didn't understand why I wanted it.

If this had Netflix I'd leave work to get it. My wife wants to stream Netflix in the bedroom and I'd love being able to play PS4 on any TV in the house (or outside the house.)

Hulu sucks, their selections are really lacking and not that great.

And Seinfeld sucks....LOL
I could have accepted the first sentence as a reasonably thought out criticism. But then I read your second sentence and realize that you are a terribly misguided person who probably is a fan of Chrisley Knows Best or whatever the reality show flavor of the week is.

I might try and get one if E3 leans me toward PS4. I don't see it as worth it with all the restrictions unless you're going to use the PS4 remote thing, and even then I don't think I will.

Then they can find/post the links if it's their job
Or you can not be a spoiled brat who thinks he should get praised for sharing a deal. This is a COMMUNITY and it lives and dies by that communities contribution. You don't need to post shit, so don't act like you're a gift to us or anyone else here. Either you're a lurker/leecher (loose use of the word) or you contribute to the site because other members of this site contribute. We all help each other, you don't want to...go somewhere else or go back to lurking.

He doesn't pay employees/moderators as far as I know, I could be very wrong though. But he does have to pay to keep this site alive. He has servers to rent/pay for, hosting costs, domain registration, and perhaps he does compensate the people who design/maintain the website. If he does so damn what? You act like because he makes a penny or two per click that you're being taken advantage of...Boohoo, grow up and get out if that's what you think.

I highly doubt this, but you never know. I picked one up at target the other day, and so far, im not impressed, but Ill hold on to it until E3 to see if a new version is offered, or if they just get discontinued all together. I bought it specifically for PS4 remote play, and the lag is just not worth it. I even had both the PS4 and the PS TV plugged directly into the router, just to see if it was better then wi fi. While the connection did improve, the drop in quality makes moving my console from 2 different rooms worth it.

I've heard some say remote play works great but most say there is lag. I can't think of any game I would want to play bad enough to deal with lag.
