e-gas? I'm hesitant to try that, but there's a couple decent movies here I wouldn't mind getting for the $7 with a $5 code.

I'm hesitant to try this because of my horrible experience with the Mario Kart gas cash last summer.  Basically, none of the gas stations in my area would honor it.  I ended up having to use it on the Nintendo Eshop and got $10 in credit there.

Is there a limit to how many you can redeem?

EDIT: answered my own question when I successfully redeemed two.

The gas cash can be used as a regular credit card. So you can buy a $5 gift card online or anything else.
So just to be clear: I get $5 for each one I buy, and I can use the code for online shopping right? Say, Amazon? What about PSN or Nintendo eshop?

So I buy Speed and Me/Myself/Irene and I get 2 $5 codes I can use to get $10 in eshop points lol.

That seems like a good deal. Are the codes emailed, or packed into the movies or what?

There's a sticker on the front with a code. Go to the website, enter the code and print out the "card". Allegedly these can be used as a standard MasterCard, but I haven't had any luck yet.

Thanks OP! Picked up Kalifornia today ( which is the unrated version too, awesome! Hate when they put an older film out in the R rated version when I KNOW there is an unrated one!)

I just used it to buy an Amazon Gift Card for $5 and then entered the CC info from the e-gascash PDF they sent me after registering the info.

Worked for me & probably much easier than trying to make a gas station attendant figure this thing out.

Isn't that misusing the promo?  Yeah it's a stupid promo because if you think about it you use some gas to get to best buy and to get back home.

I would be very careful bringing in pieces of paper with a credit card number printed on it..

While movie theaters workers know how to manually process these numbers, ask retail clerks see this they might accuse you of credit card fraud.

I tried telling the clerk that these are credit card and you need to manually process the numbers, I was met with WTF looks and accusations that typing in numbers is amount to using fraudulant CC.

Otherwise I can just write down my own credit card numbers and go around town asking people to manually input my numbers instead of swiping my card.  Or this could be the new thing where skimmers won't even bother encoding cards and instead print out card numbers and just ask clerks to manually type it into the system.  You could see why some retailers are hesitant to manually input these numbers for you.

You've got to be kidding me. I can convert my BB credit and reward zone certificates to Amazon credit while getting films like Kalifornia and Vanishing Point for $1.99 difference? Umm, sounds good to me.

Edit: dammit. Butch Cassidy, Thema + Luise, and Vanishing Point not in stock for shipping.

It's not. The instructions clearly state it can also be used anywhere that accepts Mastercard.

If anyone is wondering how to turn this into Amazon credit, it's pretty easy. In your account settings, go to Reload Gift Card, choose $5 non-renewing as the option and put in a code as a debit card. Rinse and repeat for each code you have.

Has anyone tried to use these for credit on the Nintendo Eshop?  I know the Mario Kart gas cards worked, and imagine these would as well.

Just throwing it out there. Buy one, use the code to buy a $5 Best Buy e-gift card (gets sent digitally). Buy another (for about $2). Repeat.

Get 5 reward zone points for each gift card bought too. In other words you can buy one at $7 and with a little work get the rest for $2 each.
