That's the link I used, but you can google it yourself if you want the official link.

The card also has 15 months interest free. So, basically, spend $500, set auto payment to $40 a month and enjoy your free $200. If you add an authorized user and they make a purchase within the first 3 months, add on another $25.

I've signed up for cards for both my wife and I. I'm moving a few autopay bills and using the cards for gas, groceries, and other misc. spending. I'll end up spending $1000 I would have spent anyway and getting $450 in cash back, plus whatever I earn in rewards.

Warning: Be responsible with your cards. After you hit the $500, don't spend anymore unless you can afford it. Stick the card in a drawer, leave it there and resume your regular spending habits as if the card does not exist. Do not cancel the card; simply having the account helps build credit.

This new cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this consumer credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this consumer credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this consumer credit card within the last 24 months.

READ ALL OF THE TERMS OF THE CARD BEFORE SIGNING UP. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FIRM GRASP ON ALL TERMS.

Awesome deal. When I signed up for mine, it was spend $500 and only $100. I may sign up the wife for one this time around.
Hell yeah, man. As long as you're responsible with your spending, it's literally free money. Sure, my credit score loses a few points and the average age of my accounts go down, but I already have a house and my score will be well above 700 still. It's literally spend $1000 I would have spent anyway and get $450 of free money.

I applied for this card a year ago, account is still open, wife is an authorized user and we took advantage of this promo last year.

Could my fiance apply for this and get the bonus on her own card? Just her, i don't even want to be an authorized user, just want to take advantage of promo

Yes, but the bonus is now only $100 as the promotion ended. From what others have said, the promotion will be back later this year when Chase is trying to make its numbers look better towards the end of the year.

I applied both my wife and I on the same day and added each of us to the others account as an authorized user. Seriously, $450 back for spending $1000 I would have already spend over a 90 day period. It's a free PS4, literally!

I've applied for a few too many cards over the past 6 months so I'll be looking for worthwhile cards I can put in my wife's name if anything catches the eye.

that seems like a really good card. i need to get a real credit card. im still on my unsecured card because i had 0 credit and i need to ditch that because it have an annual fee of $20 plus a tiny credit limit.

The Quicksilver One, Chase Freedom, and DiscoverIT cards are the 3 main cards I was able to get with a low 500 credit score (after 1.5 years of using secured cards to rebuild).  After about 6 months you can get slight limit increases if you're in my position, but don't expect much, and definitely don't use the extra limit... just having ithat extra room drastically improves your score.   When I hit the mid to high 500's I went for some store cards.  Dick's and Amazon both use Synchrony bank, so expect the same limit if you go for those.  Best Buy uses citibank which is a bit harder to get, and I think I waited even longer for that one.  Anyhow, definitely be careful if you get started, but I still highly recommend you do.  Credit makes the world go 'round these days, and you can't take money with you when you're dead, so build it and take advantage.

OH, and for banking, I can't stress enough how good Capital One has been all around, and I've used almost every bank.  Still with Wells Fargo but mainly for my car loan.  Capital One has always given me the highest limits, most trust, never fees for overdrafts, best bonuses, and even a $100 overage limit in the checking account, which never receives a fee even if you're in the negative a bit and make another purchase not exceeding the $100 negative (otherwise the transaction just fails, still no fees).   Not to mention they are the only bank that could offer me debit cards with free, easy to manage multiple accounts, and child accounts with debit cards to have in their names.  They actually keep impressing me, but I'll stop sounding like a salesman for Capital One.  Link to signup if interested:  https://r.capitalone360.com/yRdQau34nM  definitely worth signing up.  Glad to try and offer other help if anyone needs it. Rebuilding my credit is still in progress... I really get into it lol.

I still can't believe Capital One gave me a car loan with 15 minutes filling out an online application and answering a couple brief security questions on the phone, while I was laid off nonetheless. At a great rate too! They are awesome, but their cards don't offer huge cashback points or bonuses. Which, when you have a better credit score, comes easily with other cards and is a better incentive to spend with them.

yeah, when i get to the point that i can have those top-tier cards, i'll just upgrade my chase limit and discover has been decent (with fraud protection especially). Regardless though, I think cap one is the only 'big bank' i trust in the slightest bit anymore.

For those of you who have this card and don't mind disclosing, what kind of credit limit did they give you?

I ask because I have a specific, large purchase I'm intending to make (and pay off looong before the interest ever kicks in), so this would be perfect for that, but if the limit's too low, I'd just wind up with an extra card I have no use for.  Hmm...
