Non winners, please post any feedback you may have.  Not that I did not foresee a lone sniper being active during the rolling effect!

The rest of this first post is purely rambling.

Some personal background (a "sob story" of sorts):

I've been on CAG for many years, within months of CheapyD creating this actual site (not around during the aol bulletinboards) and signed up a few years after.  I didn't game much during high school (graduated near the top of the class from a "top" NYC public highschool).  Many things happened toward the end of 11th grade and beginning of 12th (coupled with my decisions) that seemily leads to this thread today.

I got back into gaming when I got a 360 during Black Friday 2008.  I had just transfered to a public college (hated the private one I was at).  Soon after the collecting/hoarding games and gaming items began.  This is right before "the recession" mind you.  It's gotten out of hand which may be part of the reason how I'm still where I am in life.  I've sold on ebay and used many tradein sites a lot during college.  I graduated with a degree in a STEM field several years ago and have been doing odd jobs since.  I'm currently at a high end retail store now handling spreedsheets and updating prices and products in the pos not what I was hired for).  I'm grossly underpaid (similar positions easily 2.5 times the pay). 

Well that's enough of that.

So I have a decent amount of extra NiB NA amiibo - actual "good" ones. 

On why I am doing an amiibo lowball

I started collecting in December.  I started hoarding a bit more shortly after as I had been assisting a friend for years and planned on doing giveaways etc.  He's semi popular in a competitive gaming community and on YouTube/Twitch despite having subpar content and standards imo (he is actually "good" at the game and considered a high level player, just not as good as the fanboys believe).

Anyway there were many setbacks and empty promises so I gave up on helping with giveways... yet kept on buying.  Now here I am with lots of amiibo and other stuff. 

I will be adding rules later on and of course a list.  There will be a separate list of a friend's amiibo and stuff as well.

I don't have many boxes on hand atm.  I have shipped out loose amiibo in a bubble mailer wrapped in bubble wrap to some friends and CAGs before.  So those that aren't ocd collectors will have an easier time dealing with me...maybe.

If people are interested, please let me know as well as what kind of collector or amiibo hunter you are etc

Amiibo lowbal is now LIVE!!! 

As of post #44, 3 amiibo are still under MSRP (based on my sales tax rate) .  Even with shipping, all the amiibo are still within import prices!

RULES

The lowball runs until September 6.  The end time is 11:59 PM EDT. 

There will be a "rolling" effect in place such that each item can still be bid on if there has been less than a 4 minute gap since the last bid.  Sometime after 1 AM, I will post stating that the auction has ended.

Guidelines
  1. Only CAGs that have been registered prior to June 2015 may participate. 
  2. All items start at $1 with bid increments of $1 after - whole dollar amounts only.  Currency is in USD.
  3. Post bids on separate lines (an item per line).  Type the item out (no abbreviations) exaclty as listed along with " - $X" after with X denoting your bid amount (and no quotes).  Editing or hiding of posts is not allowed until AFTER all items have been paid for and shipped out!
  4. There is no reserved price (unfortunate for me)!  The highest bidder is obligated to pay the bid amount plus shipping.  In the event the winner fails to do so, the user will be banned from future lowballs as per CAG rules.  The item MAY be available again.
  5. Payment is to be made via PayPal.  I may accept alternatives including GCs etc (at an increased rate), but this must be addressed prior to any initial bid!  Concealed cash and money orders may be considered as well.  Payment is expected within 3 days of invoices being sent out (within 2-3 days of auctions end).
Shipping
  1. Shipping is $4 per amiibo.  If just the amiibo figure alone is wanted, shipping is $3.50 per.  Shipping discounts are NOT automatic.  An aditional $1-$2 per amiibo may be taken off invoice total depending on various factors.  Assume shipping is a flat $4 (or $3.50) per amiibo regardless if several are won.
  2. Shipping figures mentioned above pertain to destinations within the continental US.  Shipping to Canada or other US territiories is available for an additional fee.  Interested users located in one of these areas MUST contact prior to bidding in order to receive shipping rate quote which would apply to entire invoice!
  3. Shipping method will be via USPS FIrst Class and include delivery confirmation (tracking).  Depending on the amount of items, shipping method may be different if a combined shipment.  Signature confirmation and insurance is available as well.  Other options can be explored after the auction has ended.

Count me as an interested party.  I'm not a big time collector, only purchased my first amiibo last month (Charizard, my usual character that I use on the new Smash Bros.), I don't care if the amiibo are loose since I plan on using them for what they are meant for and won't be one of the people that tries to "collect them all."  I have set a limit of 8-10 of the characters that I like and I only have 2 so far so I am likely to go in on a couple of them.

During college, I have become very good at budgeting my time so I have been able to keep playing video games (not as much as in high school but still personally enough to keep a good balance of work/school/play to keep stress levels in control) and hopefully they stay in my life for as long as possible.  I feel for your job situation.  I am going into my last semester of college and it is stressful thinking about what my career will be like after graduation.  I work hard to do good in my education and I would hate to be in a situation where my life situation didn't match the work I put in.  I hope you find good fortune in the future and get to a place where you are truly pleased with your life situation.  

 
Would be interested. I just got Super Smash Bros 3DS and don't have any amiibos. Have lots of games, so I'm not sure I would bid that much, but I'll help with some bump bids. :)

Best of luck on your IRL stuff; lord knows I kinda know what thats like. First couple years in the "real world" have been rough af.

I've had a bunch of delays as laptop and internet issues abound past week.  Anyway the lowball is LIVE.  More amiibo will likely be added to the list.  Also keep an eye out for a trade/pickup thread.

 
Surprised I am still winning one, honestly. In the post #2 pic, there are 2 Rosalina's; just to clarify is there only 1 in the lowball?

Also, are we still waiting to "unlock the other challengers?"

My friend took pics of two, but only one is part of the lowball. The "best" looking box will be given to me.

Unfortunately there won't be any new challengers for this lowball. There may still be a chance in the future.

Sorry about that. The pictures should be in the album now. If you're an NA in box collector, it should be a fine addition to the collection!

 
a little more than 2 hours left before the rolling effect is in place! 

Something to note is that I will be taking Nintendo World pickup requests which may ease the shipping costs on a per amiibo basis.  Stay tuned!
