Not sure if it is like the Halo:MCC and we got ODST FREE if we played close to launch and actually get all the Gears games free.

Or if we just get access to Backwards Compatible Access if we already own the Gears games.

Odd place to put this...

The fine print kind of explains what happens. All past Gears titles will be BC once it launches (Gears 1 will be available to preview members today). If you purchase and play the UE during that period, you get them for free (assuming you don't already have them). Nobody will know if you can just get it used and still get the others, or there will be a one-time code you have to enter.

 
What's with all the hatred?  I didn't see anybody scream off topic in that MK8 "register near launch and choose 1 game for free" thread.  And this seems like a better deal than that was.

Everyday after I get home of work and take care of my dogs I log on to CAG, and everyday this site confuses me more and more. :D/

 
I think it should of been a code and it should of been a Day one edition of Gears of war UT

 
Are the x360 titles live yet?

I just want to make sure they are able to launch from the games menu and not somehow tied directly to the game or something. With so many games coming out I plan on getting my hands on a used copy, playing it and then returning it so that I can at least get the previous games (all of which I still have on disc but just is easier to have digitally).

 
The remaining Gears games will be released to backward compatibility once the program rolls out to everyone, November I think. Currently it's only available to those in the preview program.

Right, I have been in the preview program forever now it feels like. My main thing is is it truly an UNLOCK where all I need to do is play the game once and I instantly and forever have access to the past titles from my Games and App page like any other game?

what would be cheaper to buy microsoft points from amazon  or buy the digital code for the game from amazon or just get the digital download game from microsoft ?

i know for a fact microsoft keep the tax they charge hidden i always end up tryin to understand why the amount i put in there wont pay for the whole game so now im askin for info first so help me out
