Xbox 360 Driver?

I know they sell stuff that plug into your PC and allow a Xbox 360 to plug in wirelessly. But is there a way to download a driver and just use a wired xbox controller for steam and PC Microsoft games?

Wired Xbox 360 are plug and play from my last experiences on Windows XP some years back.

Joy2Key is also available if you want to force any game you play to use the controller.

yea, 360 controllers just work when you plug them in assuming a game supports controllers of any kind
