I'm attempting to transfer from the n3dsxl to a regular 3dsxl and the system will not allow it. Does anyone know of a way to do it?

No, it's not supported by Nintendo. I remember when I transferred from my 3DSXL to my NEW 3DSXL, the software repeatedly warned this was a one way function.

Ehhhh....I honestly don't play it enough to appreciate the upgrades lol. I had the opportunity to trade in my Zelda n3dsxl to Amazon for $223, which will help with Christmas presents. In return, I found an amazing lot on Craigslist for a like-new 3ds xl, regular ds, 8 DS games (including Kingdom Hearts and Mario), and 4 3ds games (including Luigis Dark Moon)...for $100!!! I couldn't resist the trade off lol. And now I can start my 3 year old on her first gaming device. She's so excited!

I was able to call Nintendo and they manually transferred my id, thank goodness!
what was the process like? I still have maybe 1 or 2 3dsl xl's with downloaded games on them that I need to transfer to before I get a n3ds to use.
