Since all the PS4 has is indie games a CRT rocking 480p is really all you need
Now, now - the PS4 has plenty of PS3 remasters as well to look forward to. The PS4 is a fantastic way to pay to play great games from the last generation! And you don't have the hassle of using your old disc to play them via backwards compatibility - you get to buy the games on a fresh new disc all over again! And just think of all the bragging you can do over meaningless spec differences on the Internet - that is the true power of the PS4! It comes packaged with swagger!
It is a shame that the discussion is still devolving into these sorts of things, devs have been reaching new levels of parity between systems due to firmware updates and the feature list on the XB1 keeps expanding. I like the PS4, but Sony is really hurting this holiday with their exclusive game lineup (or lack thereof). I get that people want their console choice to be the best, but know when you are behind the eight ball. Those extra P's aren't going to be so awesome when you are sitting there waiting until at least Spring of next year for the next good exclusive. That aggression would be better served aimed at Sony and why you have to pay $20 a month to play old games you might already own. Winning a resolution debate with an XBox fan isn't going to fix the issues with the PS4 (and it does have several issues).
900p vs. 1080p isn't that apparent, at least not on my 60 inch screen. Now, if you have an 80" TV or sit nose to screen on a smaller TV, then maybe you can see it on a still screen. I've got both a PS4 and a XB1 hooked up to the same TV and my eyesight is just fine. With upscaling (which most of the 900p games use), it actually is 1080p - and you have to get out a magnifying glass and compare pixel positions to detect it (like they did for Batman since it wasn't officially published).
Mgsv isn't 900p on xb1? What about sending discs without everything in it and having the customer end up downloading the rest of the game such as halo master chief collection or rare replay?
I'm excited for the forza 6 bundle I preordered buy I'm not going to ignore the flaws. Chill mr fanboy, nobody is paying you to lie
That's funny, every game on both consoles requires installation and almost everyone has Internet - who cares what is on the disc? Practically every single game has a big day 1 patch as well. Why are the bits on the disc important anyways (same answer for the DLC haters)? It isn't like you pay more or less or the disc is heavier or something. After you install the disk is pretty much just a key to let you play.
