Best time to buy

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I may have a Like New PS4 for sale (TLoU bundle complete with UNUSED game redemption code).  I bought mine a few months back and recently ordered the MGSV console from France.  If you are interested, maybe we could work something out.

In regards to buying a console now, there aren't really any awesome bundles, other than the one I mentioned above and that isn't being released in the US.  The Destiny one coming out looks cool (not my cup of tea though), then you have the Star Wars one coming out.  If anything, and you want a brand new one, wait until they have another Gamers Club unlocked 3x points promo and buy a console then.  Also, discount coupons from Best Buy (i.e. Mover's Coupon) work on consoles, so pairing those up saves a lot of dough.

Mover's coupons? The only Bestbuy coupons I'm aware of are the rewards certificates, and of course those would work on everything if you got em.

Movers Coupons are had when you move and do a change of address. They are 10% off pretty much anything in the store and worked for me when I bought a PS4. Although it did not work on the XBOX ONE I purchased and Best Buy Customer Care could not explain why, so they gave me a gift card for 10% of the total purchase price which was like $40 bucks. So I just used the coupon on a portable A/C for my bedroom lol. Made out like a bandit.

I was in the same boat as you synacksa.  Since the PS4 is doing quite well, they really haven't been all that aggressive in their sales or even game bundles.

I decided I'd keep my eyes open on Kijiji to see if I could find a decent used bundle with some games or possibly other accessories.  Many (as long as you are in a bigger city) came up for sale with them varying on how good of a deal it actually was.  Some people knew what things were worth, and others were just wanting to sell asap.  Problem is that the ones that are lower prices go very fast, so you have to be able to jump on it.

I ended up pulling th trigger on a bundle because the dude was leaving the province and needed to offload it.  For $375 I got a like-new PS4, an extra controller, a controller charging dock, Battlefield 4, COD: Ghosts, NFS: Rivals, and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

I'm not all that interested in any of the games, but if I can sell them it makes the deal even sweeter. 

Overall, it could be a good option.  You just have to be fast, and be mindful of the quality that everything is in.  Oh and last thing, alot of people will try to sell it "with games" where they will be digital and tied to their account.  I know you can still play them if you keep the account on the system, but I actively stayed away from ones with digital games as you may be paying for games that you will not actually own.
