Ace Attorney 6 has just been announced. All we have is the standard logo with Phienix's silouette and the number 6. It has been announced to be receiving a Western release (like digital only avain) and a demo will apparently be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

EDIT: Trailer #1!

I posted the TGS trailer in the first post.

Before you get your hopes up, the girl is NOT Maya.

Also, it has been confirmed that a Phoenix Wright anime will be released in Spring of next year.

Apollo Justice has been confirmed playable in the upcoming game.

Athena will also likely be in the game, but she will probably be limited to sidekick status this time around.

Anyone playing this? I love that it has new elements like the divination séance, but also includes things from the previous games like psyche locks, perceiving, mood matrix, fingerprinting & luminol testing, and revisualization.

WOOOOOOOOO

Looks fantastic!

I only just got into the series recently, but I love it. The games had been in my DS backlog for what seems like forever, but now I wish I'd gotten to them sooner. I've been watching the anime on Crunchy Roll too.

Can't wait to play this one...after I'm up to speed on the rest of the games, that is. Still got the Edgeworth and Apollo games to play through. XD

The Investigations series can be skipped, if need be. They're fun games, but in terms of story impact none of the other games reference events from them.

Blackquill is the only good thing about Case 4. I don't mind Athena, but she gave up a bit too easily at points and Nayuta being there, instead of Klavier, stretches the suspension of disbelief a lot.

Oh, I know. It seemed out of place that Athena could take on a tough first case where she had to enter a battle of wits against a mad idealistic professor. But then this case comes and she acts like even more of a noob. She seemed extra dumb in this whole game.

And yeah, Nahyuta being there after losing a big case at Khura'in honestly felt way too convenient. He literally had no reason to be that far from home to begin with. But then again, I guess we can partially blame localization for insisting we're still in Japanerica. Imagine buying a ticket to cross the Pacific just to lose in a trial about soba noodles.

I'd have to check, but I believe even in the Japanese version they needed to take a plane from Tokyo or whatever city they live in to Khura'in.
