It was Gamestop exclusive in the USA, so don't expect this to pop up at other retailers.

Also I doubt this well be extremely rare, it has been available for nearly a month in the USA and hasn't pre-soldout. So just get one if you want a n3DS, and not if you're looking to scalp. It's a good looking piece IMO, far better than that Majora's Mask one that's worth a fortune.

Got mine yesterday, store still had a bunch of them for sale

The guy told me they received a higher supply than usual from Nintendo, but this time he expects it to be the only shipment, no replen

So I guess it's still a good idea to buy early

 
So this is $30 off now... Mines still sealed, and I know I picked mine up a few days late so it's still in the 30 day return window. I'm gonna try and wander in and return/repurchase it to get myself $30 +tax :D/

 
With the faceplates Nintendo has for the normal sized New 3DS, kinda makes me not want to bother buying LE versions anymore.
