GGT 353 Happy Home Destroyer

If the new Animal Crossing cards do really well, we will see more of this.

I bet Pokemon is next tho. I guarantee it. Collect those cards, scan them for pokemons, or master balls, or hats for your avatar, instant cash in Nintendo's pocket. Gotta buy 'em all.

The game doesnt really require the cards but im sure the experience is a lot better with them. I may get the game in the future on sale but not going to collect the cards, not as cool as figures.

I grabbed a few packs to see what the deal was. They're extremely unnecessary to play or enjoy the game. Really just a way to speed up getting a favorite Villager of yours to build for. You can also use the cards to get those corresponding Villagers to staff certain establishments in the town (like schools.)

I just plan on just trading the ones I got for some of my preferred dudes. Most of my favorites aren't even in series one though.

Plus it's like, why buy DI or Lego Dimensions when you can buy Skylanders?

Beatles and I are going to coop Skylanders on PS4. Can't wait!

That astronaut came out of no where, it just barged in and made itself at home

Also you didnt answer my question

Only a few S ranks away from the trophy in MGSV. The extreme
Sahelanthropus
fight in particular is super fun.
This fight was such a fucking fun time the first playthrough. I don't think I have enjoyed a boss battle that much in a while. I beat the ever loving shit out of him, too.

Its weird technology in V is more advanced than it is in MGS1
Gotta get that love letter to ZoE in there somehow.

I finished Phantom Pain on Friday. That one mission with Quiet was a total fucking pain. I hate Tanks that can one shot you. I liked the ending of the game a lot. Made me sad as fuck, but I felt like the message was really strong. I'm not sure if I picked up on everything that Kojima was intending, though. I wish he would release a director's commentary for the game. I would love to hear him speak his mind free of Konami.

My thoughts on the end:

The unlocks for Cyborg Ninja emblems at the end of the Truth made me feel like it was even more heavily hinted that Big Boss' Phantom was Jaeger. I figure he was probably the best person that could have been chosen by Big Boss for the job and the reflex time feels like the kind of clue to his identity that Kojima would include to be witty. My thought is that he's Big Boss until the end of MG1 and because he's beaten he sees it as failing his purpose and he effectively "dies" and becomes Frank Jaeger and then Snake for real kills him in MG2. Seeing my name on the back of the picture signed by Big Boss actually made me a squeeeee happy fanboy and my girlfriend made fun of me for it. I think it's legit the only time I've ever done that as an adult. I still feel like Kaz is a complete fucking asshole. His being pissed at the real Boss for leaving and vowing revenge by saying he'd train one of the sons of Big Boss seems like he just didn't understand things. Big Boss was clearly working on bigger and better things and still wanted to be involved in the Diamond Dogs shit, but he just needed the time. Kaz just seemed too focused on the immediacy of his desire for revenge. I must admit though, I laughed pretty hard when he said he would train a son of the Boss and Ocelot said he'd likely train the other and that they would then be enemies. It was just too on the nose for me to take it seriously. Then again, I do like that they tried to foreshadow some things further down the line in the series.. I just wish they didn't use such a heavy hand. I felt like a lot of the dialogue in specific parts didn't sound right. I think Konami may have had someone other than Kojima go in to try to stitch up the holes in the ending and in the end it just didn't feel entirely organic to the series. Overall, I loved the game. Not my favorite in the series, but it is definitely in the top 3.

Amazon just sent me the notice that DI 3.0 will be here on Thursday. I'm super excited to play after watching almost all of the Star Wars movies this weekend. I'm hoping that Amazon matches the sales this week on the Empire playset. I want to grab that and some cheap 2.0 characters to play around in Toy Box with. This is extra fun because I actually don't have anyone and there's a ton of characters to pick from.

Cheapy slaves away for deals to give you. Show some respect to the hard work he does.

I beat Diablo 3's campaign. Guess I can try another character and run thru it again.....nah, I've got too much backlog. I need to get back to Suikoden II.

Let's see... what do I remember reading.

Xbone BC is pretty bad right now. There's like... nothing to play that the rare collection doesn't already cover. Pretty sure it added some games you can't even play in the beta yet.

PSTV's whitelist exploit is pretty kewl, Now I can play games I own and games I own that don't work according to Sony.

I heard about that PSTV exploit but haven't tried it for myself. Does it work with downloaded PSN games?

Really? Not Gears or Fable or anything else? That's a disappointment.

Ooh, I hadn't heard about that whitelist thing. I guess I need to get a PSTV now.
