I have a 2004 BA XR6 with LGP installed, I've had it for about 2 years or so now I think, when I first got it the LPG was having issues so I got it checked out and ended up having to get a new gas converter put in.. Now for about the past 6 months it's been playing up again, when im running on LPG and I stop at a red light the car stalls once the RPM's get low and if it doesn't stall the whole car shakes pretty rough right on edge of stalling..
LPG prices went up and I worked it out that between the cost of maintaining the LPG along side my regular car services and maintenance I really wasn't saving very much at all so I decided to just run it on petrol and forget about using LPG altogether.
Anyway now LPG prices have gone back down so im looking to get this problem fixed..
Does it sound like I just need a simple service or tune (I've never had the LPG services or tune, only had a gas converter installed over a year ago)
I know nothing about cars and don't want to be taken advantage off so im wondering if anyone could confirm that I simply need a service or tune... Also what would be your average price be for this?
