All you have to do is download the "Amazon Shopping" app, apparently it's a new one, I already had an amazon app on my phone, but this one was different. it is a blue and white square, with the amazon logo across the top, and a shopping cart across the bottom, at least that's how the android app is. Once you download the app, you click the link above, from your mobile device, and click on the link to install the app, then I went back to the link above, and clicked on Claim Code, at which point, you have to verify your phone number, it will send you an automated text, with a verification number you just have to enter, and then you're in. You'll then receive an email thanking you, and letting you know that the credit has been applied to your account, the toughest part is then finding a product that qualifies, It has to be sold by, and shipping from Amazon, not sold by someone else, with shipping fulfilled by Amazon, this had me fairly confused for a short time at first, until I contacted customer support, and they explained to me, surely it'll break someones's price point out there, for something they are needing.

I can't believe there has been hardly any interest in this, I'll post the details instead...

I can't get it to show after your jason refer? it said i need to open it in my tablet, but I was inside the browser of bluestacks, might try later w my real tablet.  iOS says its for first time customers, but if I share my link I get $5, so you get your $5 and I'm sol... happy to help you I guess.

For first time customers of the new app, I thought. At the very least, you could just contact customer service, and let them know that you got the referral email for $5 promotionion, for using the new app, and they could credit your account, that's what I finally had to do with my mom's amazon account yesterday, because nothing I tried to add in her cart would work. And for what it's worth, my sister and wife were able to get the promotion to work properly, and I have yet to see any notification that I have gotten $5 credited towards my account, so I think this is just a poorly executed promotion on amazon's part.

Link worked on Chrome, but not dolphin browser.
Only chrome showed I was on mobile.

Funny, I tried it yesterday on my work email account, and saved my company $5, so much for trying to stick it to the man every chance I get...:(

Maybe it just isn't instant, maybe you have to give it some time, for it to enable...shrug.
