Can we talk about an Amiibo device that stores amiibo data

CAGiversary!
i.e. like what nintendo should have offered? or is that against the rules? I don't want to be banned.

I saw one of those devices at a local video game store.  I wish I could transfer my Amiibo's data to one of those trading card Amiibos and then back to the figure Amiibo.

Amiibo figures don't seem very portable to me.  Wish there were blank Amiibos figures or cards that you could save data to, in the event something happens.  Misplacement, fell in toilet, someone stole it, etc.

They are a block to content. i.e. Splatoon if you can't get the amiibo you can't access that part of the game.

Same goes for Mario Party 10, And Capt. Toad

the Device i saw would allow you to save the data from the figure i.e. save states

if you wanted to use your mario amiibo with smash and mario party you have to overwrite the data from one game with the other.

the device allows you to save one ... of them and then the other games data.
