Free Rise of the Tomb Raider Explorer card pack

This was from an email i got from xbox.com.  All you have to do is explore Lara's wall by clicking on 8 different items and a message would pop up with the code for the pack.  But it says you can't input it in until release day. So copy and save the code until then.  This is very similar to the Halo 5 one.

I'm not sure what this is, but I am really interested in the new Tomb Raider game. Is it some sort of DLC for the game?
