Super Random DSi System Question

So I used to have a Black DSi system. I never really liked it because the outside of the system had a roughness to it, sort of felt like sandpaper. So last week I held a white DSi for the first time and noticed it was smoother, still matte but more plastic feeling which I liked.

So now I'm curious were all the colors more like the white or were some like the white and some like the black in texture? I was looking at the darker blue matte DSi (saw a light baby blue one too) and was thinking of picking up a used one. The sandpaper texture would be a deal breaker for me though. 

Anyone have a large DSi system collection and could tell me which are which?

I have the blue one and it has a matte finish.

They are all pretty much matte, does the system feel like sandpaper or is it smooth? Which blue one? Baby blue or dark blue?

I have had both the white and the dark blue one (I think the official name is "metallic blue"), and they have the same texture on the outside. It's smooth.
