Why are there no reviews for last-gen Black Ops III?

Just noticed this on metacritic...Not a single review from any publication. Seems blatantly obvious that publications were persuaded by Activi$ion to review current gen only and not mention the missing campaign from last-gen versions. 

or maybe the publications you speak of dont want to waste time on reviewing hardware that is a decade old?  

Clearly the games are not really designed for hardware that is 10 years old so thats why they dropped the campaign mode from it admitting that the ps3 and 360 couldnt handle it.  Of course most people are only buying for the multiplayer so probably not a huge deal to be missing the campaign.

I mean, theyre kinda forcing CoD players to upgrade, and honestly I'm surprised they even released a last gen copy.

I don't understand.  I thought PS3/360 version of Blops III was multiplayer only.  Wouldn't the PS4/XB1 review be enough?  Unless you're looking for technical issues, bugs, and/or glitches.

Still wish there was campaign only version for the PS3/360.

+1 to this. Just because some game companies are still trying to milk every last penny out of an old system doesn't mean video game reviewers need to be wasting hours playing a subpar version of the same game. I'd think there are probably reviews out there somewhere for last gen version but if companies keep releasing games on both gens I'd expect this to happen more and more as sites decide simply not to waste time assigning another person to write a second review of a shittier version of the same game.

probably because it's not worth reviewing. 30fps, lacks a lot of content, mainly the single player. Just a bad port. Beenox should be ashamed
