Q: Does Rightstuf charge for shipping?

A: If you are a domestic customer (US) and order over $49, Economy shipping is free. Full shipping details here,

Q: How quickly does Rightstuf ship out items?

A: At the beginning of the sales it will be rather fast, but as the sales get going it will get slower, and slower, as Rightstuf uses USPS for their Economy shipping, and just like every other retailer there will be delays. Generally Rightstuf processes things pretty quickly.

Q: How can I tell if a title is subbed, or dubbed?

A: Each item will have product details.

Q: Do these sales end once a new one begins?

A: It appears Rightstuf is running a new holiday design sale this year.

Mega Deals are deals that will expire daily. Typically it is just one title (if the title for sale has two formats/releases, then both of those versions will be on sale).

Limited Time Offers appear to have replaced the wave sales from previous years, and seems to be exclusively ViZ titles for this year.

Day to Day sales are updated each day, and there are currently no expiration time for these items. Presumably they will end when the holiday sale event ends at Rightstuf. Will keep everyone posted if this changes.

Q: An item is no longer on sale for the original sale price. What gives?

A: "Quantities on some items are limited...", but this mainly just affects the ViZ DVD/Blu-rays that are part of the sales. They have done this in the previous year where once they have met a quota of items sold at the sale price, they will put the remaining stock back to the original price. Again, this mainly just affects the ViZ DVD/Blu-ray titles.

Q: If I don't find something I want in a particular sale should I wait?

A: Waiting is always a good option especially if you're having a hard time getting to $49 for the free shipping, however, if you plan to wait on items make sure to keep track of the stock of the item.

Q: If things go out of stock will they come back in stock?

A: When items on Rightstuf get below a certain quantity a counter will appear, so just remember to keep tabs on certain items you may want eventually, but not immediately. Items do get restocked during these sales, but they're usually limited. Occasionally when certain items are restocked they may go up in price depending on the demand of the product. Rightstuf also will sell limited quantities on certain sale items, and once they are out of stock it will go back up in price.

Q: Will Rightstuf ship my order out if some of my items are backordered/pre-order?

A: Rightstuf will generally hold the order until all items are available to be shipped together at once. Occasionally they may split the orders up, and ship different parts even if it all of it can't be shipped together, but not often.

Q: Does Rightstuf offer price matching?

A: No.

Q: Does Rightstuf charge sales tax?

A: Sales tax will be required for all shipments to Iowa. This year they have also added tax information for Colorado and Oklahoma residents, although it appears tax will not be required at this time, however, you may still get charged tax in those states.

Q: Has a particular item in this year's sale been cheaper in the past?

A: At the top of the first post, there are two reference links to previous couple years of sale. Both of those threads have all sale items from those sales archived, so feel free to take a look if you are unsure about a purchase, and need something to reference and inform your decision.

Stock Counter (Once the quantity hits 0, it may or may not restock, and if it get's restocked there is a chance it may restock at a higher price, so make sure to keep an eye on these if there is a title you are interested in with a counter. Items listed with "No Longer Available For Purchase" have been deactivated, and will not be restocked unless they reactivate the listing first.)
