I play my PS4 the most and it seems that almost every other day I need to charge my controller. For convinence I was thinking of purchasing a cradle to use for charging when I'm not playing as apposed to getting the cable out everytime and plugging it in to the system and letting it set.

 
I also use the Power A for both consoles.  However, when Energizer releases their new ones for the next gen consoles, I will be switching to those.  Saw them at E3 and they looked really solid.

I wanted to find a USB charger for all types of controllers and settled on this after another CAG recommended it to me. It charges nearly all USB devices I tried... PS3/4 controllers, PSP/Vita, Android phone/tablets, even Xbox 360 controller with the play/charge kit. About the only thing it can't charge is the Wii U Pro controller (figures...). Only things I don't know if it works on are Apple products (don't see why it wouldn't) and X1 controllers. 

It's not a super fast charger though, it takes a few hours to charge a PS4 controller.

only drawback is that sometimes I accidentally hit the PS button when Im trying to charge the controller...
