How do I put an animated gif in my signature

Where it asks for the link for your avatar just link an animated gif in it

I wanted to put a gif in my signature, not my profile picture/avatar.

Also, it may just be me and my dirty mind, but is your profile picture/avatar showing cartoon sex??
