Wii U online gaming?

Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting the WiiU package that comes with Smash Bros and Splatoon to play online.  I don't know anything about WiiU or these games online.  I've only had a 3DS previously so I'm familiar with playing Smash Bros online.  Anyways, do I need anything like Wifi adapter, Nintendo Pro controller, or paid subscription (like PSN or XBL) to play these games online?

Nope - everything you need is included in the package and online gaming is free.  You can use the same Nintendo Network ID you have on the 3DS as well so that the eShops share the account balance.  Don't forget to pick up Mario Kart 8 + its DLC packs to complete the trifecta!
