eMusic has a sale on booster packs: buy $5/10/20/50 get a bonus $5/10/20/50. I renewed my subscription for eMusic Lite at $6.49/month, intending to supplement it with a booster pack, and was surprised to find that they gave me an unadvertised $100 "Winback Bonus".

Earlier this year I received an e-mail offering $100 bonus credit for renewing at $11.99/month, which I took them up on.

They don't offer music from the major labels any more, so you may want to log in and search their store before subscribing.

Wow. I'm amazed eMusic is still chugging along. I was a subscriber from just after the unlimited days, through the divisive major label addition, grandfathered plans, "booster crack" and so on. I finally quit when the deal became more like Audible (album credits, if I recall) and all the people I enjoyed from their message boards split. Back in the day, eMusic was an amazing resource for discovering new music. I might check this out, just for nostalgia sake.
