Way back when, I'd found a loose Panzer Dragoon Saga to Funcoland and I was kind of bummed to have it loose. I was talking to a friend I had who worked at a game store, who had told me how great that game was in the first place, and he smiled, went to the back and brought out a case, manual and two discs that he just gave me because they wouldn't sell it missing the discs. Probably other deal, but that one I remember.

I'd say it's a tie between getting two good deals. Picked up a Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and a few games all for $10 at a yard sale recently. The other would be getting the Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock PS2 wireless guitar bundle on clearance for about  $10-$20 years ago at Target.

Final Fantasy VII PC = $10

Meeting my (then future) husband shortly afterward through the game's fandom = priceless

Best deal ever.

About 7-8 years ago I bought an NES game from a collector friend. He told me he was liquidating and getting rid of stuff and offered me a deal of $35 for an NES game. That game was a cart only Little Samson.

I found a bunch of Pokemon SoulSilver games with the collectible statue at Walmart many years ago for $40 each. I cleaned out everything I had to buy as many of them as I could. I got 7 of them. I didn't have very much money back then.

Cag-wise I picked up a Rockband bundle for 4.97 at Sears a couple of years ago. This was when it was still fairly new and was selling for 180ish.

I found a core i-5 Lenovo x220t laptop for 50 bucks at goodwill in 2012 (back then was valued at ~1000).

A Sega Nomad / Genesis lot with 35 games for 35 bucks at goodwill earlier this year.

Clay Fighter Sculptures cut x2 (one for 3 bucks at a half price books and one for 5 at a savers)

those are the ones I remember and theyre not anywhere near as good as what I expect to read in this thread after mine lol.

Various games for a penny for PS2 and XBox from Circuit City and Toys R Us
Free games from Toys R Us around 10 years ago. I had a $5 off each game coupon when you buy 2 games mailed to me and I got games for $4.98 on clearance that were free after coupon.
Brand new Gameboy Micro 20th Anniversary Edition for $4.97 from Sears.
Ryse for XBox One for $0.02 from Toys R Us last year

These were from several years back.  Can't really narrow it all down.
Harvest Moon 64 for $20 from Walmart.
Harvest Moon Another Wonderful LIfe for $0.01 from Toys 'R Us.
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for $8 from Kmart.
JVC X'Eye for $7 from a thrift store.
SNES Jr. for $9 from that same thrift store.

2x 360 broken for $10 each got about $60 for the cords. Going to trade them into Amazon soon and fail probably.
$50 for about 50 Atari games some being double enders. Penny guides and my local pawnshop taking them for $3 a piece had 30 or so guides which they no longer take.....

I got a 64gb iPad Air 2 in like new condition on Craigslist last week for $160.
Might not be my best deal ever, but definitely a good one.

While probably not the best deal the one I first think of was from 2001. EB games had a trade in deal for zelda: oracle of ages/seasons. You could trade in 3 or 4 gb games for one of the zelda games. The key being ANY gameboy game. Old sports title from the original gb? No problem. I traded in all the old games I had and even bought some really cheap just so I could trade them in. I kept one of each of the zelda games and returned the others at a later date for store credit.

Remember the Zelda Master Quest discs that came free with Gamecube's so many years ago? Target made a spot for them with a $0.01 price. Awesome pickup. I felt bad later because they were supposed to go with Gamecube systems, but I guess I can find some peace in knowing I only grabbed one and I kept it and played it.

Also, Devil's Third for only $78 on eBay :D/ :dunce:

A few years ago at the flea market I found a new Mario's Cement Factory hand-held (never used - battery was still sitting in the plastic slot next to it) for $1. The stand specialized in tools and had no clue what he had (obviously).

I found a velvet painting of Hulk Hogan at a local church yard sale for $2. No clue what it's worth (I haven't seen one like it on E-bay) but it looks great in my game room.

For me it has to be one of the following:

Near complete Elder Scrolls Arena: Deluxe Edition for $3 (only missing the mousepad) Also made it on an episode of LGR thrifts which made it even more awesome to me.

Donkey Kong G&W for $1

once i traded someone a cheap N64 game(cant recall what it was now) for a sword.

and i found a 5 dollar copy of one of the Wii blood trauma games.

When I move back home in a couple of months I'll try and remember to get a picture of it. pretty decent shape though....a little dull but otherwise good.

Paid $3 for an nes system and inside was a copy of snow brothers

And lots of other thrift store stuff

Also bought a Jurassic park playset for $5 at an estate sale , was huge and cool

Was it like a real one? Real blade that can cut? Or just one made for training that can't actually cut anything? I find tons of the latter online and at flea markets. Was it a Japanese katana? European claymore or rapier? Pirate scimitar or falchion?

It had a katana shape to it....and yeah I think it was real just kind of dull
...it's been awhile so my memory is rusty....I do have a real Toledo Spanish sword though
