Can I buy the season pass then download all the DLC to a usb drive and then transfer the dlc from the usb drive to the Xbox one

Do you mean to use the same DLC across multiple Xbox One consoles?  If so, then yes!  I try to keep as much installed games and DLC on a USB drive as I can in case I want to play on a different Xbox One.  The catch is, make sure you are signed in to your gamertag (or the gamertag of the account that owns the DLC) so that you have authority to access the DLC.

you dont have to have it on a usb drive if you dont want. you can sign in and go to the game and manage it to redownload it, same with dlc for 360 games. I guess the usb drive would be good for slower or capped connections.

Give what a rest? We all know starmask is either a moron or a troll.
What do you mean, "Give what a rest?" ? I hate stepping in on shit like this, but you guys can be assholes. Don't like what someone posts? LEAVE IT ALONE. And I'll do the same.

For disk-based games, a reinstall isn't too big a deal. But for the larger download games that I own, like The Master Chief Collection, it would take hours for me to download that even though my internet speed is decent.

How I'm I Troll all I ask was if I can buy  the season pass on the Xbox.com on a computer and  then download all the DLC to a usb drive and then transfer the dlc from the usb drive to the Xbox one to be used

Well, it also isn't helpful that most people are misunderstanding what he's asking (though, to be fair...starmask). But no, you can't download content directly from Xbox.com. Even if you buy it there, it tells you the download will begin the next time you turn your Xbox on.

You CAN however set up a USB drive to be your default install location (anyone know if that applies to downloads too?) So, you could sort of accomplish what you're wanting of getting the content directly onto a USB drive (has to be at least 256GB and USB 3.0 though)...without having to waste time transferring it, redownloading it again, etc.

You also wouldn't need to "transfer the DLC to the XB1". You could just play it off the USB drive. Considering your recent stance on never buying anything from Microsoft ever again due to sales tax...I am morbidly curious what you're trying to pull here.

What is your reason for not just putting the code in on Xbox.com and then downloading it directly to the Xbox One? Why does it need to go through a drive on a PC first?

All other details aside, the WWE 2K16 season pass only unlocks the ability to freely download the content through the in-game online menus.

I have a feeling you'll just confuse the boy with all these words for him to read...
