Just started listening, but I've been trying to get that Hot Wheels Garage set for my kid for a couple of days now.  It's sold out everywhere and I am not paying more than double for it.  That's what I get for waiting till now to buy it.

I won't tell you that my wife bought it in October for under 60 bucks...

Oh you don't have to tell me, I already saw it was on sale during Black Friday too. TRU also has 40% off Hot Wheels stuff today, but nobody has it in stock. Santa is going to have to find something else, lol.

Not sure where the person who wrote in got the idea that the characters in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 are underage as they all are between 18 to 21 years old per the DOA wiki. The only "troublesome" character would possibly be Marie Rose who is 18, but short at 4 foot 10 inches - making her look young. The only issue I would have getting this game is that it looks like it should have come out on PS3 and should not cost $72 + shipping on Play Asia.

Listening to the NPD numbers, it really sounds like things haven't changed that much in so long:

November 2010:
Call of Duty: Black Ops (360, PS3, Wii, PC, NDS) ACTIVISION BLIZZARD

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (360, PS3) UBISOFT

Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii) NINTENDO

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (PS3, 360, Wii, PC) ELECTRONIC ARTS

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) SONY

November 2005:

  1. Star Wars: Battlefront II (XBX) 467k
  2. Star Wars: Battlefront II (PS2) 447k
  3. Call of Duty 2 (X360) 251k
  4. Madden NFL 06 (PS2) 222-251k
  5. Mario Kart (NDS) 222k
Games aren't that different anyway since the PS2 era. In concept it doesn't take much to please the 18-50 male demographic. The only thing you gotta remember is to make sure it's big budget, no matter how many software developers you burnout.

You got Just Dance wrong, they count all the systems not just the Wii, and for a family friendly game, it should consider itself lucky it sold that much.

I hope you guys are having some nice Hanukkah Hash Browns. I didn't hear enough talk about favorite Latke recipes, especially from Wombat. Are there potato chips in it? How many types of cheese? How big are they?

At least you guys aren't celebrating Super Hanukkah.

I sold a Spawn hot wheels with comic earlier this week. I did a little digging around and found another copy. Too bad those things are so cheap.

Wombat: "I used to love War of the Monsters"

Cheapy: "I used to love Twisted Metal Black"

Shipwreck: "I used to love tiny teen huge cock"

But that didn't happen! Jerks!

I don't know why Shipwreck was surprised that his daughter was learning about Hanukkah at school. After all, the holiday did start in Cincinnati as a way to help Jewish immigrants cope with and assimilate to life in the new country.

This explains it:

The history of the Jews in Cincinnati occupies a prominent place in the development of Jewish secular and religious life in the United States. Cincinnati is not only the oldest Jewish community west of the Allegheny Mountains but has also been an institutional center of American Reform Judaism for more than a century. The American Israelite, the longest-running Jewish weekly still published in the country, opened for business in the city in 1854.

Re: drivers. I think one of my favorite things in life is being out when the streets are relatively empty and some hot shot is in a hurry and speeds from red light to red light, taking off like a shot at green and hard breaking when they get to the next red. Me, I just keep it slightly under the speed limit and cruise on by, catching up with the other guy without trying and never needing to touch my breaks once. Amazed how few people catch on that the lights are set to keep traffic moving no faster than the speed limit.

I am with Wombat nothing out of PSX seemed interesting to me. However, I have never owned a Playstation so obviously they are not aiming for me with these retro announcements.  I also think a PSX type conference for Xbox seems unnecessary.  There is already Pax, and the biggest one is right in their backyard.  Neither Sony or Nintendo put much effort at any of the Pax shows.  Maybe they should do more in-depth coverage of their game showcases they do at Pax Prime especially for the smaller game on Xbox Live.

Halo 5 is named Guardians because they are a central part plot of the game.  I don't think there is an automatic association with the term "guardian" and Destiny to the general public.

You guys talked about TMNT and mentioned Casey Jones.  Did you guys not notice who it was that was playing him?

I agreed with Wombat and the Playstation experience nothing was announced that I'm interested in. I keep waiting for something other then Uncharted 4 to be announced but it's yet to happen. Sony give me something exclusive to care about, one Naughty Dog game isn't enough. Especially when 3 was a disappointment.

I think Cheapy/Wombat win this episode's pronunciation war with Ship: Mary-oh vs. Gawf and Lot Ks. Woulda complicated things had Wombat mispronounced "garahrge" again. Don't even know if Cheapy realized Wombat said "garage" in this episode, but the ending's callback with a twist to it was awesome!

Love it guys!

I thought I mentioned that Amell looked too clean cut
Nah. You said Casey looked too clean. Should be more homeless looking. Either way, it didn't sound like you noticed it was the Arrow dude, but I guess you did.

I keep thinking you guys should do a Cannonball Run ripoff. You know, with Cheapy in the Audi, Wombat in the Focus and Ship in the classic Caddy. Hilarity would ensue. Is it just me?
