Guild Wars $39.99 at CUSA (Online ONLY, apparently)

Shipping $5, almost pulled the trigger. :(

Waiting for it to be cheaper. I've been playing on my wife's account, but if I got my own copy we could play it together :D

Which B&M store has it for $39.99? I've tried the 2 stores in City of Industry and Monrovia and both were $49.99 in-store.

No they don't price match their own website, I just called several Target stores. They're all $50 in-store.


Walmart.com also has it for $40 as well, but they B&M's don't price match and they all charge $50.


fuck it, I might just have to get it from Sams Club for $43...it'd still be a few bucks cheaper than paying for shipping, and I get to play right away...

This was in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Specifically, Arlington.

Best Buy and Target had it for 39.99 around launch, two weeks in a row I think.

There's a chance they'll throw it on sale again soon.

Yeah, I really need my fix too...I've been playing FPS and I'm getting a little bored...too much HL2 and CS:S...lol. Well, SAMs didn't have it in store either, and neither did COSTCO.

I'll have to buy it tomorrow from Circuit City for $45 I guess...oh well...it's worth it if it has no monthly fee...

Since this game doesn't charge a monthly rate to play, I don't think this will be happening anytime soon... They kind of have to make their money on the upfront sale instead of recouping it on the monthly fee that they don't charge...

That is, unless an expansion (which they've talked about) is going to come out anytime soon...

I may pick this up on Payday (next week), but I don't know if I should splurge for the Collector's Edition or not... I'm kind of one for the limited in-game items hehe...

Anyways, that's just some food for thought!

Hehe same for me almost playing so much HL2 and HL2DM, and now with the new Garry's mod I've been sucked back into messing around with that + the co-op for it.

edit: caved and ordered it from compusa.com, $5 extra is worth it for a t-shirt I'll never wear, a poster I'll never put up, and a mouse pad I'll never use :D

LOL, that's exactly why I'm not getting it from COMPUSA...I figured that the XL tshirt is way too big to actually wear and I dont need the poster or the mousepad...I'm more concerned about actually playing right away so I caved in and am buying it at CC tomorrow lol. DAMMIT if only I knew about this game when it launched...
