[Dead] Wireless Controllers 2.4 GHz 2-Pack (Xbox) $20 at Ebgames.com

Thanks CheapyD. Impossible to pass up at this price.
If you're looking for a cheaper (than Logitech) wireless controller for Xbox with a memory card slot, I highly recommend Pelican's Chameleon model. It also has black and white buttons in 2 locations, is a cool looking clear plastice with black rubber grips design, and, in my opinion, is a great controller. I can't compare either to Logitech, though, because I won't pay $30+ for a controller.

EDIT: The Pelican that I have for Xbox is the Spirit model. The wireless Chameleon I have is for PS2.
P.S. Sounds like I may regret buying these, but I do not play Halo or any FPS and I'm a CAG so I have to try for this price.

I have one of these and it sucks. The analog stick is miscalibrated, so it thinks I'm pushing it even when I'm not, and it will vibrate, and shut off at random times. This is the second one I've had, and I've had nothing but problems with both of them.

He's absolutely right. Do NOT buy them for any price. They just flat out won't work. Even under ideal conditions they won't work right. And you can forget about it if you have a microwave, phone, blender, tv, computer, or any other piece of electronics. I've never sold one that hasn't been returned.

DON'T BUY THEM

Ditto this, they are junk do not buy!

I agree, they are total garbage. I would not use them even if they were free, unless I could use them as trade towards a decent wireless controller like the logitech.

just a quick FYI... a lot (all?) of wireless computer networks operate on 802.11 technology, which uses 2.4ghz.

So don't be surprised if using these controllers interferes with your computer's wireless internet connection. (I used to have a 2.4ghz phone in my room, and everytime the phone would ring i would lose my internet connection).

It might still work, but a safer bet would be a 900mhz controller. If you have to use it though, try not to get too close to any wireless adapters.

Thanks for all the reviews, you all saved me $20. I am pretty much trying to avoid getting new controllers, even wireless ones, until the next gen systems come out. Even so, the price on these had me tempted.

Friend had one, and were absolutly horrible. Ex: playing halo, his right trigger would switch grenades (and seems to do crazy things like that)

I made the mistake of ordering them. One of the 2 the A,B,X,Y buttons did not work... the other one died after about an hour of play. On a good note, the batteries worked :).

I called EGgames and they are sending me an envelope to send them back for a refund. I am out $2 for the shipping.

You can return it to an EB store if you have one nearby.

EDIT: By the way, why did you pay $2 for shipping instead of getting a cheap preowned game and using SAVER?

i got mine the other day, and it seems to be workin just fine. but i got my instruction manual washed, and now its all screwed up. can someone please either scan in the instruction manual, or explain the Macro, Turbo buttons, and the force connection thing please?

Macro makes both analog stick and the triggers stop working. Turbo makes the buttons start sticking. And Force Connection turns them off. Return them.

Well I haven't used Macro, Turbo, or Force Connection and I never will because I think they cause problems. But other than that, the controllers work great.

I wrote the fourth review over at EBgames.com a few months ago. The controller has some significant accuracy issues, but it's maybe decent as a second controller (if you're not too picky about accuracy. . .)
Awesome price, but there's no memory card slot, which means you can't plug in a headset.
The only wireless controllers that allow you to hook up your headset are far too expensive, like in the $80 pricerange.

I've been aware of this deal for quite some time and if it wasn't for the fact that I bought 3 wireless controllers shorty berfore hand, I would've been all over this.
