Game got a lot of hate for its timing andtoo much cinematics but it really is a great game. Lower your expectations a bit and you'll really enjoy it. Also sets itself up nicely for a sequel.

I agree. It got a lot of undeserved hate and it's a shame because the was really good, unfortunately it's only good for one play through if you collect all the hidden items.

Some complained because it was too short for a $60 game (I did platinum it within my free Redbox 1-day rental). I really liked it. Knights of Camelot in the Victorian era. I didn't care for the mini-games, but the stealth play was fun. At $10, it's a good buy.

This is definitely worth $10. It just got a lot of hate at release because there's not enough there to justify the full price of $60, since there's no co-op or multiplayer, and the small size of the levels and the "sameness" of a lot of the weapons doesn't give you much wiggle room for trying out different tactics on a replay. The enemy AI isn't too amazing either, and you fight too many human enemies for what looked to be a more supernatural werewolf killing game from the trailers.

But for what it is, it's a game with a cool story and background with competent shooting mechanics and great graphics. I hope Ready At Dawn can learn from their mistakes with this one, and make a truly great game next time around.

Does anyone think you can get a Gamestop employee to manually lower the price of a used copy to the same as new? It's currently double the price of a new copy and I have a preowned certificate to use.

Thanks OP!  Been waiting for this to drop to $10.  Just figured it would be digitally, but I'll gladly take it on disc so I can resell it once I complete it.

I remember reading Ready at Dawn laid off a lot of their staff after The Order 1886's release because of the game's poor reception?

This. I felt like The Order: 1886 was a great tech demo, but a mediocre game. The length vs. price issue aside, it really needed more time to be fleshed out in many other aspects. The graphics, setting, and atmosphere were all great, but that was about it. Although I didn't enjoy it that much, I'd love to see Ready At Dawn make a sequel. There is just so much potential that I feel could be realized if they didn't have to worry too much about the technical aspects next time around.

All that said, I'd say it's worth a look see for about $10.

many game companies lay off after the completion of a game. often times those same people are hired back within months. it is possible they over hired to meet a deadline or perhaps for ready at dawn they stopped getting those checks from sony and couldnt keep some those people during pre-production. i believe they did the same thing after finishing one of the god of war psp games.

I want to bite so badly, but I also promised myself I wouldn't buy any more games for awhile. I'm torn. I also want Steins Gate...

If this holds for a few days, I'll be picking it up...I'm amazed it didn't hit this price anywhere for Black Friday.

$10 was the breaking point for me.  It will be easier to explain my growing backlog to my wife at that price point.  She won't buy it, but I will feel better.  :)

Great price, but I've got so many games to finish. Think I'll wait for this to be freeeee on PS Plus, pretty sure it'll appear in 2016 as the price has dropped so quick.

I always just say that I can usually make 10 back by selling it on Ebay when I'm done.
