If anyone wants to buy the cable this way, I'll send them my 360 version and I can take the steam key? I already have a cable and the 360 is no longer with us....Just a thought. I may just buy it myself..

PC version > any other as long as your computer can handle it.  Custom DLC scene is pretty insane and it's easy to add them.

After playing way too much Guitar Hero Live I was looking at buying this the other night. Glad I waited.

Any suggestions on a decent, cheap guitar to use with this for a beginner or do I start browsing pawn shops?

I would say pawn store, craigslist, or garage sales is a good place to start checking around. People when they give up on a instrument may sell it at a greater discount than an actual musician, would. Potentially in more pristine condition, too. Always try and test the guitar, even if you don't know what your doing. Bring someone along or at least familiarize yourself with the sounds of a few chords. Fender Squire's are usually under $100 new, about 60-80 Used.

Guitar Center, Musicians Friend and other similar retailers always run deals on cheaper beginner models (~$100)

This one is a starting point.  Nothing stellar with decent reviews, but something to get your feet wet with (and see if playing is even for you) before dumping money on something expensive:  http://www.musicians...electric-guitar

Well that sucks. Looks like the price went back up to $48... at least that's what I think it is. Stupid site isn't loading correctly (appears to be loading text only).
