Hey guys, just wanted to share as I came across this selection not easily found on Amazon. Three marketplace sellers are selling it for $28. Cheapest I've found for the physical disc copy. All three sellers have "Fulfillment by Amazon", so FSSS/Prime applies.

I ordered a copy from Game Otaku, and it arrived in perfect condition. These are the Japanese versions, but both Japanese and Asian versions have English text and audio.

yea I'm still pissed we aren't getting the collector version of that that capcom is releasing at same time in other countries
Crapcom here in the states is worse than NoA, and that's a HUGE honor they have earned every single ounce of. They have some of the coolest products released around the world, and their shop here is filled with crap toys, and over priced collectible "junk". Then when there is demand for a physical release of something like Phoenix Wright, they just ignore it and move on.

They have really gotten just as bad as Konami, so unless Metal gear or Street Fighter is you game of choice, your chances of getting anything cool here in the states is less than ZERO. LOL

8 dollars lower and we're in business. This and the rail shooter HD Umbrella Chronicles got PS3 physical releases in Japan too for those collecting games.

And can you PS4 console warriors keep that nonsense to a designated shitposting forum, please?

The PS3 is basically dead. Your in the wrong boat if your playing big name titles such as Phantom Pain on PS3.

Take a look at Rockstar for example. They no longer make updates, patches for GTA V for PS3/360.

Not much of a FPS fan myself, but damn does Black ops 3 look garbage on past gen consoles.

You're* speaking for yourself. I still have a backlog on PS3 and PC games and I'm in no rush on jump on your boat. There's plenty of people on my friend's list still playing PS3 games because the library is just that vast, some over trophy level 30. There's still quality games coming out for it. I have 72 plats and still waiting for a PS4 revision and the hyped exclusives to start coming in with a worthy collector's bundle once it moves past this remastered phase, along with a better controller and 1Tb standard.

Yeah, my PS3 still has years left in it. If I started playing a game a month for the next few years, I still wouldn't be through my backlog. Currently, I have no reason to buy a PS4 for the exact reasons mentioned. It needs some better games, a cheaper price, and I almost never buy a first version console, especially when a smaller more refined system always shows up sooner rather than later.

Why would someone with a big backlog buy any games for higher than $10?

I don't know, why would they?

The only time I pay more than that, is when I think a game may become rare, or if I think $10 is never going to happen. Then $15-20 is not out of the question.

I can agree with most of what you said but I don't get the "better controller" part. The PS4 controller is pretty damn sweet in my opinion. Feels much better in my hands than any Xbox controller and the slightly heavier feel over the PS3 controllers gives a more stable feeling, just my opinion.

My point is that there are two groups that make sense: people who are interested in the latest games and therefore have the latest systems and people who are patient and wait for cheap games on older systems. This "deal" doesn't appeal to either group.

If the reasoning for not buying a PS4 is a backlog then why would you add a $28 game to that backlog?

Different strokes for different folks. They both have their moments depending on what game you are playing, good and bad.

There is still some rpg games on the ps3. If u not planning on getting a ps4 or Xbox one, then its fine. I would like it to be at $10. Does anyone know if they working resident evil 2? I would like a hd for that

Every Japanese dev is screwing the US over. Pre 2006 I felt sorry for PAL territories because they didn't get sh*t, but after 2006 they've got just about everything released in the US and then some. and on top of that, they've gotten all these great collectors editions that the devs decided to give a big middle finger to if you lived in the US.

Now that digital is getting more prominent, they're also getting physical releases of games more often where as the US gets screwed out of that too. Bloodborne the Old Hunters for example. Gravity Rush was announced for US after a lot of people complained, same with Xenoblade Chronicles and Devil's Third. No idea why, and VGChartz is unreliable but all we have, but if you look at sales of Bloodborne and Gravity Rush PSV, they sold the best at retail in the US, so why are they the only ones that were going to be left out or potentially left out at getting a retail copy?

Neither US or PAL regions are getting Yakuza 5 at retail and I can tell you that the game is going to bomb because of it. You don't release a last gen game digital only at budget price when most people have moved onto next gen already. Consider that there's not even a demo for the game. Sega has been doing everything possible to make the series do as poor as it possibly can when it actually gets a western release. Either that or Sega is just that stupid.

It's perplexing alright. I don't have space on my PS3 (120 Gb) so I couldn't get Yakuza 5, which I wanted a physical release for anyway so I'll have to skip it for now and probably altogether. Funny (sad) thing is Sega will point their fingers at Y5 lackluster sales in the future for not bringing other titles over.

There was also minimal advertising, even during E3, Paris and Playstation Experience. They don't advertise, make it digital only for such a huge sized game and expect profitable sales, I say they are just that stupid. I'm still angry about the Okami HD treatment.

Considering the thread at hand, it's weird you're complaining about the PS4's remastered phase.
