"$20.00 off your purchase of $100.00 or more, excluding Coins & Paper Money (Bullion), Gift Cards, Vehicles, Real Estate and Business & Industrial."

eBay gift cards may work though...

Check your email or the bottom of your My eBay page in the coupons section to see if you received it. This is a targeted promotion/YMMV. I got it and I recently sold a few things on eBay.

You can buy multiple items adding up to $100 or more, or can purchase a item for $100 or more.

Got the coupon? Use code CLIVE2016. Expires Jan 12th.

I never get these codes.

The ones I typically get are like $75 off $1500 on Automotive purchases, so if I bought a car, I would be set!

I really wish I knew how people get picked for these stupid codes. I sell stuff on eBay, I have money on PayPal, so why don't I ever get one of these?

Although, having anything with Paypal might actually go against you now. ;D

It's not against eBay rules to have multiple accounts. I have 3, and NEVER get offers on my most used account. The two new ones have received great offers in the past. I even got a $50 coupon for selling my 1st item, a Batman controller skin! Lol

I want to believe it has to do with inactivity as the reason people are getting these offers.

I got them on my two accounts that I've been actively been selling past month. I have a third account I haven't touched in awhile and that one didn't have it.

Went right to this video card that was 190 yesterday and now jumped up to 220 :(

anyone got any suggestions on a decent card under 200? preferably from newegg on ebay.

Best Buy gift card.

Doesn't work.  Doesn't work on other Gift Cards that I tried, either.  Works on Steam/Gaming cards, though.

Just FYI, I bought $98 worth of stuff with $2.52 shipping.  Didn't realize it, but technically the coupon shouldn't have taken as it wasn't $100 before shipping, taxes, etc.  However, the website did take, my order was recorded, but now it shows up as "Payment Pending."  Called eBay CS, and they said they've been receiving a lot of calls about the code tonight and to give it 24 hours to clear or cancel.

Not sure if the issue is due to my situation (technically, the code shouldn't have applied) or something with the code itself.  Just wanted to give a heads up on it!

Edit:

They completed the cancellation of my order, so now it's just a waiting game for the code to activate again for my account.

Lol, this. After taking a hiatus from selling on Ebay and then just recently selling a couple items, I remember why I stopped selling on there. F'ing fees account for about 20% of the selling price (if not more).

Yea I agree, I sold a decent amount in Nov/Dec, first major sales and holy crop. Maybe I don't fully understand it. How come you pay fees when they make the payment, then get billed at the end of the month? Guessing one is from PayPal and the other is eBay themselves? I thought when making the actions they said fees:$0? That must have just been fees for the auction itself.

when the sale is paid for with paypal 2.9% of total + .30 cents per transaction is taken out directly from paypal.

Ebay charges 10% when an item sells, and they bill you on a monthy cycle. Ebay mentions no listing fee's, it's free to list items but once they sell you have to pay the 10% final value fee.

So basically you're paying ebay/paypal 12.9% +.30 cents for each item that sells. And when you start dealing with people from other countries the exchange rates can get tricky and end up paying even more fees.

Better than Amazon. They hose you on the shipping.

Didn't see anything in the messages tab.
