Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection - PS3 - $19.89 at Amazon

I wish Liberations HD got a solo disc release... just so I can satisfy another of my collector's OCD quirks and have all the 360 Assassin's Creed games lined up on my shelf.

I have to remind myself that I own the vita version, 3 was boring I should skip it, and I loved the fuck out of black flag 1080 on PS4. I still want to buy this... At $15 or less. The wait continues.

Its on Target clearance for 14.88 IIRC

Is Liberation HD on disc or does it come with a download code?
I thought it was on the disc, but after some investigation, it turns out it's a code.

No reason for me to buy this, then.

EDIT: After more looking... the PS3 version comes with all three games on one disc. The Xbox 360 version comes with two discs for AC3, another disc for AC4 and then a DLC code for Liberations.

So... yea, the PS3 version is miles better than the 360.

Just to clarify, the PS3 version of Liberation is on the disc, but needs to install from the disc. While the 360 version is an XBL download.

I thought Rogue had much more America in it then 4.
IV took place exclusively in North America. It had just as much America as IV. Besides this collection is a year old, and came out when Rogue was a $60 retail game, hence why its not included

I own the digital downloads of AC IV (courtesy of GWG)...and already have a hard copy of AC III for 360. Soooo...the only reason to bother picking this up for me would be if Liberation is on the disc.  Based on the 3 different answers above it's still a tad confusing whether Liberation on the disc or not. Can someone offer a bit of clarification?

Side Note about these types of "collections": If these typically included all the released DLC it'd be a much better value proposition...and serve as a nice way to preserve content that could eventually be lost to the digital ether.  But since it doesn't appear to include any DLC...and possibly not even Liberation...well = it's kind of "meh", even to those of us who like to have hard copies for our collections.

360 = DL code

PS3 = on disc but requires install

I would love for them to do this on the Xbox one with updated graphics. I usually hate when games do this, but I loved the fuck out of AC3, so id love an excuse to play it again.

I don't have any of these, but still want to wait for $20. But it's likelier to go up in price than down in price. Decisions, decisions.

Having played all three games, I can say $22 is definitely worth it for the collection (especially the PS3 version, since I can confirm all three games are on the disc). AC3 gets a lot of hate it doesn't deserve imo, because expectations were so sky-high for it and some fans were attached to Ezio. Flawed sure, but I still thought it was great. Liberation was good, and while Black Flag didn't have the best plot it's easily one of the most replayable in the series
