Seagate Expansion 5TB Desktop External Hard Drive USB 3.0 (STEB5000100) $150

Great price, but the only hard drives I've ever had to RMA have been seagate's (and several at that).  Leaves me with a bad taste.

Seagate typically offers 1 year warranty vs WD's 3, which tells me something right there.

i have had 3 bad WDs, 2 Maxtors/Hitachi/Toshiba, 0 Seagate failed on me in my lifetime.

All dumb luck

What's funny is all my Seagates were "external" drives....then I remove the enclosures and slap them in as internal drives (risking warranty) and none of them failed

Whereas, the WDs that I bought were all internal, and 75% of them failed in my lifetime.
