Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Beta is currently live for the XBox One.  The PS4 version will go live at 7 PM EST, and I'll post a link here when it does.  

PS4 Beta Version is now live!  It's 16.1 GB.  And if you don't already know by now, downloading while your PS4 is in the Rest Mode is a lot faster than if you're currently playing a game or watching a movie.

Eh they did a lot of entirely free stuff for the first game so I can't be upset that they put out a new game that looks like it's more than just a CoD style update two years later.

 
OMG the opening movie was just SQUEEEEE.

It even turned me in to a teenage girl.

Edit- Nice, looks like we'll be able to import our characters from the first game.

The menu system is also awesome.

My son poured a crap load of hours into the first one but on the 360. I really hope the stats carry over into the Xbox One. I'm doubtful though as the 360 stats didn't carry over to to the Xbox One for the original.
 
I have been playing on PS4, while the game is fun I am having a harder time telling the sides apart. They nerfed the scientist while adding a lot of powerful characters on the zombie side. I am also experiencing server disconnects which are frustrating but hopefully get fixed by release. The game is still a lot of fun and a worthy entry to the series. I especially enjoy the new "Backyard Battleground" mode, it's basically a horde mode. Feel free to add PDXCerealKilla if you want to play!
