Omikron The Nomad Soul - Free! With Coupon Code "omikron"

I think David Bowie would rather we celebrate his legacy by creating instead of consuming.  He was an incredible artist with a...  Ah fuck it gimmie the FREE GAME

A waiting list for a digital offering. Hmm, trying to decide how many licenses Square Enix actually wants to hand out?

Omikron is a pretty fascinating disaster, but personally, I recommend watching Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence instead of suffering through this game.

Requirement of a Pentium 4 1.8ghz? Unless it's in a hell of a wrapper that seems excessive. Hours is one of my favorite albums. I know how thoroughly mediocre this game is, but I'm going to play it [for a while and then add to the backlog] because it was a passion project of his at the time.

They made the coupon code invalid?!

The order was stuck in an infinite loop several times. At first I thought it was because I had some web developer options switched on by accident (disabled java, etc) but that wasn't the cause of it not going through. After trying for the 4th time, it finally came up with a thank you for your purchase confirmation shortly after. The key was in my account->your orders (clicked View under delivery).

Other then that, they should of just made it a DRM free download with no sign ups.

Got one.

Code worked for me just fine.

I remember there being a lot of hate for this game, but i loved it.  Definitely one of those games that was, imho, better than the sum of its parts.  In a lot of ways it was like a low rent Shenmue, with a huge world to explore and numerous different gameplay modes.  Shenmue definitely looked and played better, but i loved Omikron's sci-fi/dystopia setting and visuals, and the music was phenomenal.  The shooting parts were (admittedly) pretty bad, and the fighting didn't hold a candle to Shenmue, but i enjoyed exploring the world even more than i did in Shenmue, and sometimes i'd just sit at my game and listen to the music(or go into a club just to watch a holographic concert of Bowie's outlawed band, The Dreamers).

If you're going to play it, just don't go into it expecting a AAA title, and try to appreciate it for its strengths rather than focusing on its flaws.

Tried the promo code didn't work for me. "This code is invalid for those products." Bummer. I never had a chance to play this one back in the day.
