get on tha mic is cool for the beats and if you want to freestyle...but if you're looking for something to grade you on how well you perform, look elsewhere....you can hum in the mic the whole time and get the highest rating available....also, hopefully you already know the lyrics to the songs...because if you try to read them as they scroll across, you'll never make it....'cause they don't scroll across, they pop up sentence by sentence....so by the time the lyrics are displayed, you were already supposed to sing it...

i paid $55 for it at launch OMFG....yeah i know...i couldn't find a mic and said it, i'll just buy this game and get the mic with it....plus the idea of rapping instead of singing (karaoke revolution) was something that i was waiting for....so yeah, $20 is worth it for the mic alone....the game on the other hand, id only use it for freestyle battling....if anyone actually would get together and do that on the ps2
