Gamestop Clearance which includes T-shirts $1.97, etc. YMMV

I went to my local GameStop in southern Indiana and found that lots of gaming T-shirts and random think geek accessories are being taken way down in price. I was able yesterday to get a Star Wars Kylo Ren t-shirt, and two different Assassain's Creed syndicate t-shirts. Each were on sale for $1.97. I also bought a shovel knight amiibo. ....You know because of all the great deals I dug up???? Good luck and happy hunting!

Used in-store pickup to purchase a shirt last night but it was still ringing up $12.97 in store. Guess I'll have to go back.

Picked up two of the SW tees, a Fallout tee, and the Batman lounge pants yesterday. The $5 coupon I had from PUR worked on that, so my net cost ended up being like $4.

Here is some tips for anyone undecided on size.

The fallout, star wars, etc is 100% cotton and its big in size. If u want it loose, then get a size up. Not sure about shrinkage, but I think it only shrinks 5-10% aka 1 size if wash with hot water and dryer.

The assassin creed shirt is way better and is ploy/cotton blend. Note: Not all stores received these shirts. I picked up both the large and medium because wasn't sure. The medium fits better, if u like a fitted look.

The Batman pant can be unstretched, so get the size u normally wear because it gets wide going to the bottom.

Fallout pant fits normal like any other PJ in store. Would say its better then the batman PJ.

Not game related, but Sam Club has Eddie Bauer thermal shirts for $6.81. There is many colors, but smaller sizes are limited depending on color. Great for the cold and way better then those cheap Hanes thermal.

Called the nearest Gamestop to me (30 min) to confirm the online stock was correct.

Bought:
Kylo Ren x2 ( me + nephew)
Halo Chief vs Locke
WWE 2k16 Austin

Also, they had the Star Wars hat with both logos on it so got that too.

$16.80 total.

Got myself a Batman "Red Hood" t-shirt, I used the website to hold it and picked it up in less than 3 minutes when I arrived at my local GameStop. $1.97 + tax, man this was a great deal.

Got that one, Arkham Knight, and MKX shirts a few months ago for the same price. Surprisingly there are still some in stock.

Thanks OP.

Got three Assassin's Creed shirts (two were the same design), Red Hood, Arkham Knight, Master Chief vs. Locke, Age of Ultron, and Black Ops III shirts.

For anyone interested, sizes are kind of all over the place despite the fact that I just got L and XL. I'm about six feet tall and pretty slim, but like my shirts a little on the loose side, so here's how they fit me, for anyone curious...

Solid grey AC shirt w/ birds across AC logo (XL) - fits good, but is a little long. Probably be a tad small after washing.

AC White Chapel (L) - Too small, but I could get away with it. It will probably look stupid on me after washing.

AC White Chapel (XL) - Perfect right now, but might be a little on the snug side after washing.

Black Ops III (XL) - Perfect fit, sleeves may feel a little short after washing.

Red Hood (L) - Overall, it fits good right now, but the collar is way too big. Hoping it shrinks in the wash, because it looks stupid right now.

Chief Vs Lock (XL) - Way too big. I could fit a second person in it with me.

Age of Ultron (XL) - Too big. If it shrinks in the wash, it could be an okay fit, but still look loose.

Arkham Knight (L) - Good fit, maybe a little on the snug side after washing.

And I also have some of the MK shirts from an earlier sale. I got large and they all fit well after washing.

Thanks. The Assassin Creed shirts are blend of poly and cotton, so won't shrink much. If the other shirts are 100% cotton, it will go one size down. Thats what one employee told me

This only helps if we can see a selfie of you.

I always see people say they're over 6' and "slim", yet they always wear L and XL. Me, on the other hand, I'm 6'3" and even M shirts almost always look baggy on me. It's a game I'm always playing (and losing), trying to find shirts that don't make me look like a gangster wannabe while still having enough length to where it doesn't look like I'm wearing kid's clothes.

Also, hello from southern Indiana, as well.

I bought a ton of shirts yesterday from this. I wish I hadn't bought some of them at $5, since they had all the same shirts at $2. I did grab a couple
Of pairs of Fallout pants, so that's cool.

100% cotton will shrink about a size if washed on hottest setting.

A dual-blend will not shrink very much and will last longer.

I put a few items in for hold at the store near my parent's house. Hopefully the store has them in stock and my dad said he will go pick up the stuff.

Im 5' 8 159 lbs. I wear between a size M and size L depending on shirt cut. Shirts like ACDC, etc shirts from JCpenney is small that have to get a XL and that still shows my arms. Michael Kors 3 pack shirts from TJ Maxx wear a Size M. The 100% cotton shirts from GS looks more boxy and bigger then it's size, but someone said that it shrinks one size down, but not sure if its true. Online states that it shrinks only 5-10% if u wash in hot water.

As for the PJ, Get the size you normally wear. The Batman huge. Unless u like baggy on the bottom, get the normal size u get like the ones at hot topic, or TJ Maxx. Fallout PJ is the better comfort wise. Hope this helps.

The Assassin's Creed shirts are a notch above the others. They're cotton/polyester blend and the White Chapel shirt is a raglan style. REALLY nice shirts if you can find them in store...

Thanks OP. I picked up this shirt today for $1.97.

anyone have any Luck finding either of the LoZ shirts that are on the website? The Majoras mask one is in stock at a store....30 miles from me. Probably not worth it for a $2 t shirt haha. But i want it...

The majoras mask one has been slowly dropping for the past 6 months, I got one about 3 months ago for around 6 bucks and only 2 gamestops had any near me. I have not seen the other Loz shirts locally in buffalo ny, we have about 15 stores within 25 miles of each other

Here I thought my $8 Star Wars knit hat with pom-pom originally $15 was a good deal at GameStop. Should have waited it out.

Agreed. The BB-8 star wars shirt is also cotton/polyester blend.

Has anyone notice that GS games are being to increase in price? like Skycrawlers Wii was $2, but now $5? What is going on?

There's a Kylo Ren GameStop Exclusive Tin that's pretty much a lunchbox, $2.97. Still available at lots of stores as well as for shipping according to the app.

Was wanting to get a Vault Boy T during Christmas but just bought a house and money is tiiiiiight. They all disappeared right after Christmas from the local spot and didn't see this until now. Looks like I'm not getting one.

Also, this isn't clearance but saw it while browsing apparel and found it interesting.

Wow. You getting that for your girlfriend?

So purchase Teenage Zombies from GS . The label is dark and shiny. Is that a fake cart?

I got 1 those t shirts some people mentioned above, the AC syndicate t shirt / polyester and cotton mix. It is quite nice. But aside that, I found scotch tape for 97 cents and a glow stick for 47 cents in the clearance bins lol. I got em just for the hell of it. Manager said someone came in an bought 10 shirts couple days ago so maybe after that ,all that was left was L and XL t shirts except the shirt I got which was the last M shirt.

Ended up going to 4 Gamestop stores today and scored a bunch of shirts.

Got:

1 - Halo Match Up Shirt

1 - Stonecold Shirt

1 - Kylo Ren Shirt

1 - Black Ops 3 Skull Shirt

1 - Assassin's Creed Rooks Shirt

2 - Gears of War Shirts

2 - Fallout Boy Shirts

All XXL and all for 1.97 each. I love me some cheap shirts. I cleaned out most XXL shirts, but there were still quite a few of many variety in smaller sizes.

Also got a BB-8 and Fallout Boy Lanyard for 2.97 each.

The surpise find was the Game of Thrones McFarlane building sets on clearance. Got the Iron Throne set for 14.97 and a House Stark Banner set for 4.97.

I'm pretty happy with what I found.

Everytime I click on the store I'd like to pick something up at, the gamestop server errors out. Never happened before and it's been about 3 days.

Usually on clearance, they just continually drop the price until inventory is cleared out.  The shirts might go to $.97 a piece, though doubt many if any at all will be left at that point.  You can also keep an eye on the other shirts that are dropping, some are at $7.97, $5.97, $2.97 etc. IIRC.  I believe the $*.*7 i.e. 7 cent price point indicates clearance items at Gamestop, much like the 8 cent prices indicate it at Target.

Eventually stuff that has been at $.97 or $.47 for a while will penny out also.

I got my brother to go with me.  He's got a good paying new full-time job for the last three months and is a lot more stable now money-wise.  I used to be the one to pick up the slack to help him with food, games, whatever his family needed.  He'll admit being self-employed sounds a lot better than the reality is sometimes.

Anyway, he picked up a bunch of shirts for his youngest son, lounging pants, etc. as well as a bunch shirts for his girlfriend's two kids.  There were some other clearance doo-dads that caught his eye, so not all his purchases were apparel.  He's got a nice little stash of gifts now that he can use for various occasions, which is nice with Valentine's Day right around the corner.

He's always been appreciative for the extras I've done for his family throughout the years, but I could tell he was really proud to be able to do something nice for everybody with his own money without breaking the bank.  He's still in the mindset of frugal spending because of the last 12 years of fluctuating income.

For that little victory, thanks OP for bringing this to our attention.
