I ignored the crafting in Fallout 4 until I beat the game and did everything. I just wanted the crafting achievement. Same goes for the minecraft town mode, and armor crafting. It's not needed. You do what you want to do in the commonwealth as usual.

The weapon i used most at the end of the game was a Chinese edged sword with electricity running through that I picked up off a random legendary enemy. I felt like Jason from Friday the 13th. Some raider would shoot me like 5 times as I slowly walked up and hacked his head off in one swipe. I would then have tons of ammo that I'd sell off.

Great show, under less than ideal circumstances. Thanks for putting it out. And thanks for the Deadly Tower of Monsters recommendation. I'd never heard of this game before but I checked out some video and it looks awesome. I'd normally wait for a Steam sale but 34% off on launch week is enough to push me over.

That's smart. I got so bogged down by the crafting that I put Fallout away in early December and still haven't gone back. I picked up Assassin's Creed on the cheap and it was the complete opposite experience. They removed almost all the annoying escort and stay hidden missions. Crafting was as basic as possible and manage the couriers, ship, assassins etc... from the other games was gone. The result was a streamlined game that was a blast to play. It was actually my favorite game of the year.

You're giving me hope to go back to Fallout. I was undecided about going back but now that I can see that you can complete the game without the crafting I'm going to try it. Thanks.

That wasn't the real Kylo Ren? :(

I agree with Wombat about MeTV. Saturday nights are awesome and family friendly. They start with Superman at 6. Batman at 7. Wonder Woman at 8. Star Trek at 9. Svengoolie's movie at 10. However, it's hard for me to get a great signal to watch it because it's channel 33, and it apparently broadcasts from Connecticut.

Marie Kondo? That's a frequent name I hear on Judge John Hodgman.

The 2DS, PS Vita Slim are pretty ergonomic, but they get a bad rap.

MeTV looks horrible here (broadcast quality, not referring to content), so I assumed it was a local access channel. I was pretty surprised to hear it mentioned on the cagcast.

Yeah, Star Trek & Svengoolie FTW!

Was really boring last week. What's with the crawling pace? Trying to make a little material stretch I guess.

I don't know where CAG is hosted but have you and John looked at Azure? They aggressively monitor stuff on their cloud for hacking.

Really enjoyed the show except for one problem -- Where is the game of the year talk!?!? You keep toying with my emotions each week stating you are going to talk about it but nothing... I know Wombat is reading this... Lets get a discussion next time! Heck, just go through your top 2-3 or even just your overall favorite. It doesn't need to be anything elaborate.

Looking forward to the next show. Hopefully Cheapy's moving schedule accomodates.

I forgot about that. Where was the game of the year talk? Also saying kylo ren was in force unleashed made the end more funny.

What's up with Wombat? No harm in wanting an opinion on a game even a free one. Some people don't have time, energy, or interest in playing every free game to find out if it's worth their time .

I love MeTV. I first came across it when I was testing out my over the air HD antenna . So even Cheapys "no cable" existence could find things to watch. You can just go to the website and see if it is over the air where you live.

They did it last week, well, just Wombat's favorites.

Regarding the ergonomics, it works for controllers, so why not a handheld? My 4 year old has no issues with the 360 or PS3 controller.

I really need to find out what happens with shipwrecks console LED lighting. Having console color coordinated lights when in use sounds awesome!

I gotta agree with Wombat on Fallout 4's constant micromanaging. Feels like half the time is spent on loading screens, menus, and pip-boy. The pip-boy itself needs to be more zoomed in for a better, clear view.

What was the name of that Superman movie again? I can't remember and don't want to rewind through the show.

I also tried the Deadly Tower of Monsters demo, cool game but not sure if I will get it just yet as I have other games to play right now.

I was totally thinking Lightyear when Shipwreck said buzz about Oxenfree. Wombat answered my prayers.

Gouging is an important pricing mechanism when shortages exist. When shortages occur, a person is more likely to unnecessarily hoard items if prices remain stagnant, which removes the availability of the items for those who may have a greater need for it. Tripling or quadrupling the cost of pizza could help dissuade some butthole from buying 20 pies and leaving everyone else out in the cold.
