$10 Games

I think Viewtiful Joe 2 for PS2 is one title that has newly dropped to $10. I think it might be a temporary price drop. I found this one while doing a just some ol' searching of EBGames.

Hopefully the majority of these, at least some of these, haven't been posted before.

Cool, I think this is one of those games that they periodically drop and then raise back to $20. I think it may have been this low before, but I may have it confused with the first VJ which is always $10. I hope this is a consistent drop, I'd like to get it cheap after I get around to playing the first one.

No, actually, it's been that price for weeks and hasn't changed. It was posted on the frontpage on June 2nd, actually. Anyway, the price seems permament. I'm holding out for the Cube version, myself.

Anyway, these have been posted before, but thanks, hiccup.
Castle Shikigami was $10 ever since it was released. Thought people should know that it's not really a deal.
Awww there goes $1 worth of printer ink.

I'm fairly sure these have all been posted around already. VJ2 has been $10 forever since you can get it in-store for $10 also. I think all of them have stayed at $10 for sometime now, with the exception of Syphon Filter which occasionally jumps to $20 now and then.

bad!

"Another mystifying aspect of the game is the silver and gold treasure chests. These are secret chests that may appear on each floor when you do something. Not only is the requirement for revealing each chest a secret, but the requirements for revealing the gold chests (i.e. the good stuff) are so bizarre that you have no practical hope of discovering them yourself through strategy, skill, or otherwise deep contemplation. For example, in one floor you'll have to avoid attacking any walls (this breaks some walls), then defeat a Dark Spirit, and then the next thing you attack must be a breakable wall."
I personally liked Castle Shikigami.
Yeah, it's a good game, I have it, I just wanted to let people know that $10 is the normal MSRP.

Add another to the list that dropped: Lupin the 3rd for PS2 is now $9.99 (saw it in-store)

Trades in for $26.25 at FYE.

I bought it when it was $17 at CC and wasn't disappointed. Like a cheap version of Azure Dreams. Dungeon crawler with a bit of items. Some side quests. I probably put about 8 hours into it and then started playing Gran Turismo 4.

I like how one of the reviews for Technic Beat is "Nothing is better than halo 2 unless they come out with a halo3 freak."

Really, what the fuck is this guy talking about? It's a music game.

Oh yes, and "UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM No its not better than halo 2 you weirdo."

Games are being rated so low because of retards. :)
Awww there goes $1 worth of printer ink.
It's still a good game and worth having for $10. But yeah, you wasted your ink.

I have found that Halo fan and moron go hand-in-hand far more often than [insert game name here] fan and moron do.

The Halo generation of gamer/online personality has just begun.

I know...what a scary thought, that they'll only get worst in the coming years.

Dang whipper-snappers! :oldman:

How/what is Technic Beat? I'd be interested in this one, if I knew a little more about it. I LOVE music games (Parappa, Gitaroo Man, Mad maestro, etc).

Thanks for the input on Druaga, eldad9 and dhrez. I'm gonna pass, because I have lots of other games to play, and, like dhrez, I'd probably just end up getting distracted by another game. Plus, I cannot stand secrets without any in-game dialogue about them. I prefer to have at least a chance of finding secrets...
