PS4 Camera for chatting?

Hi

I was thinking about buying the PS4 camera so that my brother could see me while we play.. is that a thing? can u watch someone while you're playing a game with them at the same time?

or how does it work?

i mainly want it for that. to chat with my brother...

is it worth buying?
