Mostly waiting on Amazon. But BB has 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, and Amazon still isn't preordering the 3DS Dragon Quests (if anybody missed them from BB's last 30% sale).

Amazon is now LIVE!

The list doesn't show all the games, but search for the game that you want and see if it is included in the promotion section:

Qualifying games are fluttering off and on... I just added all the games I wanted to cart with the promo showing. Then they didn't qualify for a discount in checkout. Meh, placed the order, I'll sort it out after work, or complain at CS.

This is terrible for me. Best Buy has most of the games I want to pre-order, yet "Cannot ship to Quebec" makes me unable to pre-order. And Amazon is sold out of Twilight Princess HD bundles.

Guess I won't be pre-ordering.

Nothing works on Amazon. If you F5 a product page, sometimes the promo will randomly pop up. Just order whatever you'd like and hassle CS. Maybe they'll give you the discount, if they stupidly don't you can just cancel your order.

Collector's editions are/were qualifying, I ordered Grand Kingdom, Senran Kagura and Valkyria Chronicles. All of which showed that they qualified.

good luck on the CEs, if you can get them adjusted, it's great.

Since they are not supposed to be included.

fucking Best Buy not shipping half their games to Quebec.
You know what's even more hilarious? They sell the same games in their stores in Quebec.
You know what's even more hilariousest ? The Quebec law that prevents English games to be sold in Quebec should only pertain to the display on shelves of games with no French translation. It works based on complaints from customers, no visits are made by an employee from the CQCD unless a complaint has been filed... Technically, a store can sell those games freely as long as they keep the game behind the counter in a drawer or something, then wait for an interested customer who doesn't care about a French cover to specifically ask for these games.

Clearly Best Buy are trying to avoid such complaints by not shipping to Quebec (which makes the fact that they sell the product in store even stupider), but really... how many people will order those niche titles online only to complain that the cover has no French translation ?!?!

I am a hard defender of the French language and I believe all products from major vendors should all have bilingual packaging and manuals, but these laws are lazy, pointless and serve no real purpose in the end, other than pissing off QC video games aficionados.

And what makes this even worse, is when they do their 20-30% off pre-orders promotion. Half the god damn list has "cannot ship to Quebec" on it. This is why I stick to EBGames for my niche games nowadays.

Which means, I'm extremely limited in what I can/can't pre-order during this deal. At least Amazon doesn't pull this crap, but they don't have the games I want to pre-order in-stock.

Well, Amazon's CS were useless. They sent me a long email saying "sorry, no. Prove it". I replied sending them screenshots from yesterday, I doubt they looked at the screenshots, they replied with the exact same form-letter email they previously sent...

People on RFD seemed to have plenty of success phoning in about this. Do not email them, because they take the time to check with their "promotions department" and then just send out a canned rejection. Seeing as I already have a complaint and resolution on file for this order, it's very unlikely I'd get anywhere even with phoning in now.

So:

Games ordered through Amazon: 0

Games ordered through Bestbuy: 8

Edit: Oh, people should get Valkyria Chronicles from Bestbuy. Even without the 20% discount it's $5 under the MSRP there

Just putting it out there that it anyone wants to sell their Fire Emblem Fates SE to a hardcore game lover and collector ( gonna actually open it and play it) then please PM me. I'll pay above MSRP obviously but let's be reasonable. Must be mint, could pickup anywhere in Montreal.

fuck! Just got a gift card to Amazon and of course I miss the sale...how often do these usually happen?
We were a little spoiled in recent memories...

E3, BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY, XMAS/BOXING DAY, RANDOM SALES.....

I'd say anywhere between 2-3 months

Pre-ordered Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS, back when BB had 30% off. Shows the copies for 3DS are on backorder.

I ordered the CE for that from Amazon. It doesn't even have a shipping estimate yet, so I don't think they have it yet either. I'm thinking these weren't pre-shipped for retailers to hold till the street date, so they'll ship them out whenever the receive them.

Mine shipped today, but is scheduled for Monday delivery for some reason. They're using FedEx.

I confess, I only placed a tentative order on MMLC. Then didn't really want it, and instead of cancelling I presold my preorder on eBay. It's just so easy. You just need to get a Canadian buyer, and you plug their shipping address onto your Amazon order. Amazon ships with tracking for free, so it's secure in addition to be being easy. And I was up front with my buyer, and told him exactly how I was handling his order.

So, the eShop has Mega Man Legacy Collection for $18.99. And retail it's $39.99 ($27.99-$30 for people who pre-ordered during the sale.)

Guess I'm returning my copy.
