At least you don't have too far to fall on the quality ladder. Keeping those expectations in check is important I suppose.

Deadline is a great $1-tier game, but I think most of us got in a Humble Weekly BTA since it was pretty low. Pathologic is the stand-out here, but it's hard to justify the BTA price for the 1 game. Hopefully the mystery $8-tier game knocks it out of the park.

The games you have in your inaugural bundle are good, even though many people will grump about the movies. Please keep up the quality in future bundles.

Gotta admit first thing I thought was "company names itself gamebundle then puts non games in first bundle".

I'll keep ya bookmarked; post when you have new bundles so I don't miss one! Good luck to ya!

Recently bought an Alienware Alpha i3, which is my first foray into PC gaming and I was looking to broaden my Steam library, so this introductory bundle hit the spot. I did the "pay more than the average" so I could get Guacamelee. Looking forward to upcoming bundles!

We've added the much requested "purchase a gift" option to our website. You'll find it at the bottom of the payment bar.

Mystery game just got revealed, it's Magnetic: Case Closed - Collector's Edition.

Not bad if you missed out on the BTA of the Gambitious Weekly, I guess. Pathologic still remains the stand-out.

So it seems they have a HH like program called BundleBlitz, where if you buy the $8 tier, you get two copies of the entire bundle. $4 a piece would bring it down to essentially $2 each for Pathologic and Magnetic. And even if B&C:D is the worse reviewed of the two, somehow I missed that as well.

That being said, would anyone even be interested in splitting a two for one?

Not a bad bundle, GB guy.

I would recommend changing the name of the site, though. Maybe invent a cute little mascot, too, similar to the now defunct Blink Bundle.

Anywho, keep it up!

Not bad at all, definitely much better than most bundles I've seen.  Tales from Space in particular is a fun game that I didn't even know had a PC port.  I bought it on PS3 years ago and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Thanks for the heads up. That's an acceptable deal.

No, but I would be interested in Train Fever for trade/purchase if someone has an extra. I have all the other items in the bundle besides the movie, so even $4 is a tad rich for my blood. :bouncy:

Oops. I fell asleep super early last night and it looks like all the blitz bundles sold. I guess next time I should just buy in advance and try to find someone to split with after. Hopefully some of you got in on it

Gamebundle.com's 2nd bundle is 100% movies. The false advertising is real.
Thanks for the feedback Pengy99. We're not going to limit ourselves as a digital distribution platform because of our name. We're advertising the bundle as a MovieBundle so there isn't any false advertising happening here. We understand that some people only want games, and that's completely fine. Our next bundle will contain 100% games and we hope that you like it.

well, seems like you're used to paying more than the average

Must admit I prefer 100% movies or 100% games rather than a mixture so maybe that's a plus.

Are these movies rentals or to keep? I couldn't find any info on that. I know it's a little weird that Steam has movies for sale and rental.

Also, if I can make a site improvement suggestion: usually when I want to know more about a title in a bundle I'll right-click the thumbnail of the game and open it in a new tab. For most bundle sites, it'll open the Steam page for that product. But on GameBundle, it just opens the picture banner in a new tab - because it's "Open image in new tab" instead of "Open link in new tab" - and on my browser at least, that means it downloads the banner. You'd have to hover the mouse over "View on Steam" to open the store page for it. It's just a mild annoyance when every other bundle site does it one way and you guys do it another.

I'm recently new to the PC gaming scene and just learned about how to shop for Steam keys. It was the first bundle I had ever bought, so please cut me some slack. I've been a console gamer for the past 3 decades and a PC gamer for the past 3 weeks. And I didn't find out about Humble Bundle/IndieGala/BundleStars until after I purchased the bundle in question. When they said PC titles could be purchased for pennies on the dollar, they weren't kidding.

This is the one guy on earth who can safely buy that Square Enix mystery box.

Hey, I'm not that dumb! :D
If you own none of it the box probably won't be bad. That said, I would wait for them to do another Humble Bundle. Last one was pretty good. For a man that owns no games the humble monthly is calling your name ...especially if you like mystery boxes!

The biggest reason most of the regulars think it's a bad deal is because we probably have most of those games already, not that it's necessarily a bad deal.

Although them rebuilding most of those games cheaper in a Humble a week or so later after that last box was rather rude.

It was just a joke about buying Alienware, which is often overpriced by a hilarious margin.

Still, welcome to the PC scene, although you'll probably be pissed when the new video cards come out in a couple of months :V

No harm done. I got my Alpha for $354 off Amazon Warehouse Deals which is pretty good for an entry level PC that will run my Steam backlog. I'm happy with it so far. It's only slightly larger than a Dreamcast, takes up very little space, and nothing I've played so far has crashed, but yeah, it ain't future-proofed, although I tend to be more interested in indie games and not big name releases like Far Cry Primal and The Division.
