or in other words, wait 7 days while we delete the entries from those that said US. :p (or unchecked the signup for the newsletter box)

Curious if they do send the key.

i just finish this game last weekend first play through. sht of chaos is still giving me nightmare.

I may just be being paranoid, but I did just lose access to Steam for about 10 minutes.

The only game I've been fucked on by not getting the UK version is SAW (because everywhere else's is censored), I ordered 2 (one with UK and one with US), just in case.

Also, you people need to relax, it's a legit site.

 
The website also just told me the giveaway is over. As with many people I am disappointed I did not see this last night.

I missed it too.

I've gotten free games from Golden Joystick in the past. They usually have an annual voting for game awards and give free game for participating.

Same. I dont think it's sketchy. They just dont have many copies of a free game in any given year iirc

I followed steps 1-3, but when I put in the promo code I get the error "Invalid taxcode reference key 5 for subsidiary 4." I have no idea what that means; I made sure I didn't have extra spaces surrounding the code.

It might be because I haven't responded to the verification email that they send out after you create an account, but I haven't gotten it yet.

Either way I plan to put a UK address for my billing address just in case. The original promo said UK only, so I said I'm from the UK even though I live in the US.

 
I emailed GoldenJoystck after I made the above post. They replied promptly stating that codes would be emailed today.I got the same error code as you. I removed the hyphen and was met with a different code "Coupon code is invalid or unrecognized" I have emailed them again on how to rectify the error code. I will update after I hear back from them.

 
I got my account confirmation email and confirmed my Golden Joystick Store account. Tried the code again and it still didn't work.

 
People on Reddit are saying you need to use a VPN from a UK/EU location. Only after doing so will the "Invalid taxcode reference key 5 for subsidiary 4." error go away.

I was worried it was something like that; that's obnoxious. I tried using a UK-based web proxy but I couldn't get it to work. Can anyone recommend a good free UK VPN?

Basically you only need the latest DSfix. Stuff like DSMfix is only required if you don't have a controller.

Oh, you also might want to get some texmods, like improved visibility healthbars, high-res ui and correct gamepad prompts (if you use non-Xinput pad), but these are optional.
