Unfortunately I worry that I would get a bunch of stuff I already have on steam.

I would like some of the Final Fantasy stuff but I feel like I have enough games at the moment.

I think this was the last one.  Not bad for the asking price, but there's always the risk you get a bunch of stuff you already have and end up giving the keys to friends or trying to trade/sell them:

And odds are they'll use something with a currently inflated price, like something FF14 again, to justify that $80 value.  Go look at their current selection of downloadable titles in the store to weigh out if it's a decent possible value for you.  There's definitely been worse mystery bundles but these in general are one of those sucker taxes.

I have all the Final Fantasies cept XI, Life is Strange, Tomb Raider. What I hope to get would be Just Cause 3, Hitman would be a pleasant surprise, Sleeping Dogs would be FANTASTIC. Hmmmm.

Nothing says "thank you for dieing for our sins Jesus" like bunnys and sales on digital licenses to random video games

Sleeping Dogs maybe (it is $5 higher than Steam) but they're not doing JC3 or the new Hitman (I assume that's what you mean).

That is what I meant. Old tomb raider or dues ex games are logically more likely. Not a fan of Kane and Lynch so please anything but that. I'll probably pull the trigger because they might surprise us with... something good.

Temple of Osiris and FFXIII in the last one wasn't terrible.

Still wish I'd grabbed FFXIII. Hopefully there's more FF love in this one.

I figure Tomb Raider (2013) and one of the FF's besides 13 & 14 would make it worth $10.

Last one included a 20% digital coupon code that listed no exclusions or terms and no listed expiration date that they then refused to honor during the anniversary sale last month. Also almost everything in the $10 bundle was put on their Humble Bundle for less a few weeks later. Fool me once shame on them, fool me twice and I would be a complete idiot.

Wasn't the last time a steaming pile like every mystery grab bag in the history of man?
Yes, yes it was. To top it off, last time they started a humble bundle the week after the grab bag where humble users got all the games for cheaper! It was like twice the disappointment!

Yep, I got it, only 9 more days until disappointment!

Eh, I owned everything the last time I bought one, but bought for the decent chance that the first part of Hitman is included, as well as Lightning Returns.

i bought one last friday for $10.     I like to gamble, i go to Las Vegas.    I figure $10 isn't bad at $2 a game, and if better than that, then hey!   We made money!!   $$

I was happy with the previous surprise box, so I bit on this one too. If things go well, then hey, I'll have 5 more FF titles in my PC collection. I expect at least 1 or 2 duplicates though.

what did you end up getting?
anything good?
From the previous pack, FF 13, FF 14...and a couple other titles I can't recall at the moment will post later when I'm at my pc.

*edit* I'm back - Life is Strange, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and Thief were the other games. All new for me, so it was a good deal.

Ditto for me on the items - I'd have preferred FF 7 over FF 8 - and already own SD and DE:HR - but still, for $10, I have 2 more FF games, and Quantum Conundrum. Can't complain about that.

You serious? I bought it hoping for sleeping dogs and FF8, ha

Not lurked! Pengyed!

This bundle wasn't actually terrible. I don't regret not buying it though.

Anyone finding that their code is for Sleeping Dogs rather than Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition? I own the former, not the latter, yet trying to redeem the code tells me I already own the game and proceeds to ask me if I want to install Sleeping Dogs. Not great.

I'm running into the same issue myself.

What that hell is with all these surprise box deals that sites have been having lately? And why have people been falling for this scam? Pay money for something people have no idea what they are getting.

So far it's panned out well for me - 8 out of the 10 titles were ones I didn't have already - maybe a scam in your opinion - but not to everyone.

I was expecting garbage like a single episode of a season, but they actually added recent games, so it's not all bad this time.

Says you, I was taking a gamble on hoping for Final Fantasy 8 or Sleeping Dogs, turns out I got both :p

I wasn't willing to pay $5 each for the two games I don't own that people are getting (FF8 and FF13) but I still kinda want both of them so I can play them on Steam. :(

Patiently waiting on the humble bundle that includes pretty much everything from this bundle + some things for the same money  :whistle2:
