I see that as well. I also see 160GB or greater... On another page it states "any" slim model. I don't think they have the specifics themselves yet...

I just called the store and he said 4gb slim 360 works for the trade in.
The store i called said they are still doing the pick your game promotion.i did not ask when it ends but its going on right now according to him.

Traded in my slim xbox 250gb without the hard drive - aka XBOX 360 S 4gb for the $100.00 promo. HOwever, when checking out, the system would not let the manager give the $100 promo and the "pick a game" promo. When ever both would apply, the price would jump back up.
You're talking 8-12 months of waiting. That seems crazy. Is there absolutely nothing on the XB1 that interests you? Personally, I think you'd get wrecked by missing out on releases over another 8-12 months. You're already behind on some nice stuff Forza, Sunset Overdrive, Halo), and you'd miss Quantum Break in 2 weeks, which looks great. Waiting again would probably put you past the release dates of Halo Wars 2, Gears 4, Crackdown, and maybe Scalebound. So, it depends on what you're looking forward to.
The main promo info says ANY slim. The slim 160 will be fine, though the fat won't.
But 360 bc is a godsend....
BC on the 360 wasn't much, but still better for the consumer than Sony killing off PS2 BC on the PS3 and then "remastering" and reselling you the same games you could play on the first-generation of PS3.

Why would you buy a second console though? I mean, a Black Friday deal might match this and add a free game or something. This seems like something aiming to get Quantum Break a bigger shot at sales by sending more hardware to households with deals, IMO. But, like I said, imagine if you waited another 8 months until BF. You'd be in the middle of a bunch of more exclusives. I don't see how you'd have time for all of the games. Take this time to burn through Ryse. Sunset Overdrive is a load of fun, but only about 25 hours (that was for me to get 1000 GS, too). Quantum Break is about to hit as well. You shouldn't want for entertainment through 2016, that's for sure.
Isnt xbox one slim and ps4.5 slim coming out this Christmas? Looking forward to seeing the Nintendo NX.
Update: They didn't let me apply it to quantum xbox one. I just bought the gears with the free rise of the tombraider game.
