Not uncommon to have a store fill an online order. Friend of mine still orders from them sometimes (I havent in years) and quite a few of his "new" games were opened, one still had a stores sticker on it from being a display that said it was new.

Bottom line is gamestop should be your last resort, even if you dont have GCU you still get bestbuy rewards points. And a new game from bestbuy will always be an actual new game.

 
Apparently I missed the last copy at my local Target by minutes, according to the dude in the boat. I had a copy saved in my BB cart, just in case, and I used a $10 gift cert to preorder some Kirby amiibos to get free shipping.
