For those who haven't heard, Nintendo finally launched the Miitomo app for Android and iOS! You can connect with friends and by interacting and answering questions, you can rack up coins and Miitomo Platinum Points that can be transferred to your Nintendo Account to get cool stuff.

Since it only adds friends via Facebook and Twitter, I thought it might be a good idea to have a central thread instead of clogging up other threads. I also made it a wiki so if somebody wants to add their name here, they can.

From what I can see, it's either Face-to-Face, Facebook, or Twitter only. I wish there was a way to import your 3DS/Wii U Friends List as well.

Yea, same here, i mean i think this is the only thing i can say that i don't like about the app.

The fact that it's just based on social networks.

I mean, everyone has atleast one, but still would've been great to see just by username.

 
i'm not a fan either i don't like facespace and/or twitter.

only one person on my dissused facespace account had created a miitomo . an x kotaku employee or something.

This reddit post says they spoofed their GPS location (easy to do on Android, but I'm not sure how on iOS) to add a "face-to-face" friend, but the thing about that is you and the person you want to add this way have to hit the same symbol at the same time.

I tried randomly changing my location to the Nintendo Store NY and hitting all the symbols to see if anyone happened to be searching for friends at the time, but had no luck.

I added everyone in the wiki so far. I'll go back through the thread and add anyone not in the wiki.

EDIT: Removed my info from the wiki. It takes a long time to keep up with everyone's answers once you have a lot of friends added. I'll still add people in the app through mutual friend requests.

You don't need to add that many people from Twitter/FB - it only takes 3 mutual friends before it starts suggesting other people to you.

I don't use the account for anything but this kind of stuff, but I'm glad I kept it around.

EDIT: Ok I just followed everyone from the second post, front the dude with the Shaq face to the dude who's brothers handle is lone wolf.....but he has a brother......so hes not really alone..... ok then.
