Login Timeout length

I only check the forums occasionally-- let's say once every week or two.  It seems more often than not, when I check the forums, my session has expired.  Even though I've clicked "remember me" when logging in.

Can we increase the timeout of the session cookies?  If I'm reading the cookies right, they expire in 7 days?
