I have GCU but if you have 2 games to buy and you have a TRU credit card, it's good to buy on the day that gives you an extra 10% off. Beats GCU.
Just wish Bestbuy would have sales this so I can combine it with GCU. Too bad they seem to do it only around Black Friday.

I'm actually going to pick up Star Fox and Mirrors edge Catalyst through this. I have had 90 dollars in TRU gift cards for several years, but they never have a sale that beats ... well anyone. This at least matches GCU and those 2 games don't get bonus 10 dollars back, so might as well use my Gift Cards up.

The only thing to gain from this if you have any TRU gift cards, rewards and any games that are not at best buy or that are cheaper here. Otherwise this is equivalent to GCU on two games
They have Sonic and the Secret Rings, and The Black Knight for example. The former is store only at Best Buy (for $15, unless you can price match on the site) but the latter is at both.

I think in Target, even if you use their credit card for any amount that your gift cards don't cover, you would still get 5% off your purchase. Wonder if Toysrus would do the same? It will cost $96 for your purchase. Use the gift cards and pay for the rest using your Toysrus credit card on the day your store gives an extra 10% off (it's Thursday in my store, don't know if it's everywhere), and see if they take $9.60 off your whole purchase.

Have they had b1g1 50% off lately? Or is 40% off the most nowadays? Was thinking of getting some of the Nintendo Selects or any of the Nintendo games that rarely go on sale but I can wait...my backlog is so huge anyways lol I just went there last month during a b1g1 40% off...

I think Target has run b1g1 50% off sales but none at Toyrus and Bestbuy in years that I can recall although I think a b2g1f sale did occur in one of these stores 2 Black Friday's ago.

Must be another store? lol unless this changed recently otherwise: 5% on whole transaction only works online when it's partial payments of red card + gift card but u have to trick the checkout screen by modifying ur payment after the calculated total using red card only is made... instore on the other hand will only give 5% on the portion u paid using the red card =(
